Some of these have taken a direction not aligned with the Nature and Purpose of our Group. Members initiating and participating in such discussions are reminded to show restraint and stick to astrological analysis. Some amount of non-astro discussion is OK but please be aware that 3000 members are reading your emails and be sensitive about what is being written. Guest guest Posted December 16, 2009 Report Share Posted December 16, 2009 Manoj_ji/Moderators, I have always found it difficult to distinguish between where human experience begins and astrology ends -- as if they were inseparable! I realize that my world-view is much less black & white than most others who are scholars and Gnanis. For me, astrology has never been a " kitab " or " Paddhati " and we have seeen many of those if you have been sticking your necks and noses into Astrology and Divination for a few years or decades! There is absolutely NO MAGICAL LOOK-UP TABLE, despite numerous claims and what the torch-bearers have claimed and selectively demonstrated etc. My observations have been, and please deny or question those if your had been different: There is no HOLY GRAIL! If there were one, we would not have had so many paddhatis, approaches, gurukuls, TRADITIONS and whatever else exists! For the 'beginners' -- please ignore my message, because if you do not first get the TECHNICAL ASPECT DOWN PAT, you will not get it! But do not remain stuck in the nascent purity of techniques and technicalities. Do venture forth, for your own learning and benefit! This will be my last post on this topic!
