Dear All,

Diamond chart/Northen style follow counter-clockwise and other follow

clockwise........Can anybody share something on this?

Apart from other non-logical answer what i can think that

rotation/spinning of earth on its axis can be viewed from 2

location......if we see from north pole it is counter-clockwise....if we

see from south pole it is clockwise............

Other logical solutions include - 1) Those who view sky/zodiac from Northern hemisphere standing south faced will view it anti clockwise AND those who view sky/zodiac from Southern hemisphere standing north faced will view it clockwise. Therefore this could be a possibility (apart from the extreme north pole-south pole requirement). 2) (Rejecting the non-essential requirements, we can also reach the simple solution that) Those who watch the sky south faced will view/picture the sky/zodiac as anti-clockwise; and those who watch the sky north faced will view/picture the sky/zodiac as clockwise. I think that this second option is the best choice, considering other reasons as well. This 'practice' of watching the sky north faced or south faced (laying down with head on north or head on south to watch the sky) can be a simple traditional practice. For example the nigama cult (vedic/aryans/devas) consider north as revered and so will lay down with head on north (facing south) and the agama cult (tantrics/non-vedic/asuras) consider south as revered and so will lay down with head on south (facing north). Thus it is well evident that Nigama (vedic) followers will draw the zodiac anti-clockwise while dealing with their semi-tropical astrology, and the Agama (tantric) followers will draw the zodiac clockwise while dealing with their nirayana astrology. As the time pass-by it is just natural that some will become confused, and some will understand such variants in proper context. It is the same truth that is depicted in different ways; clockwise or anticlockwise is irrelevant; vedic or tantric irrelevant. Both the systems are part of ancient indian culture and is already merged into one with Vedic Nakshatras and Tantric Zodiac becoming one! Hope this helps.Love and regards,Sreenadh , devisigh <devisingh.rajput wrote:>> Dear All,> > Diamond chart/Northen style follow counter-clockwise and other follow > clockwise........Can anybody share something on this?> > Apart from other non-logical answer what i can think that > rotation/spinning of earth on its axis can be viewed from 2 > location......if we see from north pole it is counter-clockwise....if we > see from south pole it is clockwise............> > ------------------> Regards,> Devisingh>

Dear Sreenath Ji,

Thanks for logical solutions........it is informative.....

Other solution i can think after reading your provided information

seems more logical as below.

It could possible that when people do not have advanced instruments and

look sky through creating Long hight towers.

They may look sky by looking upper side and facing any side

east/west/south/north.....i think that can not be restriction...

If we look only Sun (Big star) then only 2 possibility are there.....

Sun rising from East and Star associated with Sun also rising with it

on eastern horizon and moves toward west....another possibility by

knowing that Sun is steady rather Earth is revolving (we need to see

earth by standing on sun)......

Once again thanks for sharing,I think it is good and enough logical too

beyond this it will be worth.

--Thanks and Regards

There could also be one more reason. The South Indian are the original vastu

Experts, and as per Vastu there must be no cuts or konas removed from any plot.

the Plot must be perfect square, Rectangle or Circular. This is considered

auspicious. Maybe this is the reason the South indian chart is made a perfect

square shaped with more squares inside the Bigger square.

regards/Bhaskar.
