Question? re Nodes

Hello!!! Happy Sankranthi albeit belatedly...

My question is this:

Nodes in transit, do they dispose on behalf of the planets they are with and/or

on behalf of the planet that is lord of that particular house?

For example: Ketu in transit in Gemini in 4thH, Virgo in 7th, MercR in 10th.

During Ketu pratyantar dasa, Ketu can also act like Mercury in these three

bhavas, correct?

Best!!! Thanking you in advance!!! R

Hello!!! Bhaskar Ji,I believe nodes in transit would behave in the ways below:1. They would give effect based on the Nakshatra of the current house they are transiting (I`m not entirely sure of this, however)2. They would give effects of the lord of the current house they are transiting3. They would give effects of the planet/occupant positioned in the current house they are transitingThat being said, the chart has to be reviewed holistically...ie...the lord of the current house of nodal transit, would have to be examined in its lordships and placement in other houses as well. Is that a correct analysis, Bhaskar Ji?Thank you again, Ramola--- On Sat, 1/16/10, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Re: Question? re Nodes Date: Saturday, January 16, 2010, 8:07 AM

O shoot I forgot, all that being said about nodes in my prior post, when you examine the entire natal chart, the nodal effects come into play during their respective dasas. Thank you again Bhaskar Ji and everyone else..Ramola--- On Sat, 1/16/10, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Re: Question? re Nodes Date: Saturday, January 16, 2010, 8:07 AM

Dear Ramola ji,

Its very rare that astrologers can actually predict the transit results and get

confused int he maze of hundreds of supposedly rules given in the texts, which

are actually not matching the reality in Life of a native in Life's journey.

The way to check transit results not only for the Nodes BUT for every planet is

-

Check any planet in transit is transitting in what nakshatra. Check the owner of

the nakshatra. That will guide you to the results which the native will face in

his Life.

Example -

Suppose we want to check the transit results of the Sun for a Leo nativity.

Suppose the Sun is transiting in Scorpio in jyestha. jyestha is owned by

Mercury. Mercury owns the 2nd and the 11th for Leo,so this means that the

transit of the Sun is going to bring in wealth and gains for the native. But how

will the money come ? It will come through the 4th house singnifications since

the Sun is transiting in Scorpio which is the 4th house for a Leo nativity. This

means that the native can earn through his mother, or constructions, or Coaching

classes, or selling Sharbat or Agriculture, or whatever...... One can also time

the event when he will receive money. How ? See the Sun will transit in

Scorpio always in the month of November every year. Jyestha begins from 16.40

degrees in Scorpio. around 16th November the Sun changes to Scorpio. we need 16

degrees, so add 16 days to 16th November and we get the 2nd of december

approximately as the time from which the native will start getting wealth and

gains.

All this can be done on the fingertips without referring the Ephemeris.

And they do not teach you all this in Jyotish institutes or Astrology courses.

This can come only from a Good GURU who loves to share.

I hope you will thank me for the above sharing though I am no Guru.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Namaskar Bhaskarji,

" Gyan ki Ganga thodi aur baha dijye " . Please comment if my understanding of this

is correct. For the Leo native Moon lords the 12th house. So Whenever Sun (any

planet) transits through Rohini, Hasta or Shravana there will be losses. So what

role Vimshotari dasa has to play?

Dear Ashish ji,Let me take the liberty of answering you, since Bhaskar ji seems to be busy and you're getting impatient. Transit results are obtained only when dasha gives its clearance, not otherwise. If Moon is 7L, as for Capricorn ascendants, do you think every transit can bring about marriage?

Dear Ashish ji,I apologise for calling you *impatient*. My mistake, I thought I'd seen two messages from you on this.  Anyhow, hope you don't mind my taking it up. I'm sure Bhaskarji would add to it as and when he finds time.

Dear Aashish ji,

Sorry I was busy, as I run my Online KP classes every Sunday evening between 6-8

pm .

A good Question put up by you.

Neelamji is right.

What I wrote in my previous mail is the Part A of the transit results. The Part

B comprimises of actually merging the effects of what a particular planet (In my

example Mercury) will actually give to the native. The changes would appear with

individual Horoscope of native.

Since we are not dealing in actual analysis of any given Horoscope, I mentioned

the summarised way of checking the transit results.

But in Your example if the Moon gets the lordship of the 11th house in a Leo

Nativity which is possible in Bhava Chalit, then the native will instead earn

better money.

As per systems approach the Moon is a functional malefic for a leo nativity.

As per Traditional approach Moon lords the 12th so a House of Outflows (Loss is

not from 12th but from 8th).

But as per Placidus which I am talking about there is no Fixed Lordships to

houses as such. they can vary with the extent of area covered by each House.

rehards,

Bhaskar.

Bhaskarji,

Since you are referring here KP Bhava Chalit (correct me if I am wrong), what

shall happen if same planet lords both 11th & 12th in Bhava Chalit.

Dev Sahab,

A good qyestion.

This would mean that a man will have both inflows as well as outflows.

Kamaai aur kharcha both. This is not a bad combination... As long as money comes

in theres no harm if one is able to spend... But only one drawback here. Savings

may not be there.

regards,

Bhaskar.
