Dear All,I thank Sonia ji for giving good pointers, and also reference material for adoption. We can have a more meaningful discussion on the topic. I am giving below birth details of a boy who was left by his unwed mother in an orphanage and adopted by another family when he was about 3 months old.

3.12.1997/5/55 AM/Panjim, GoaI request Sonia ji and other learned members to delineate the factors for adoption in this chart.RegardsNeelam

Case given by Neelam ji has Scorpio Ascendant and Leo navamsha. 1. We need to see affliction to ninth house and ninth lord in birth chart, chaturthamsa and dwadashamsha. In birth chart, ninth house is aspected by Jupiter, Venus and Mars.Where Venus and Mars are causing affliction to ninth house, as sixth and twelfth lords.Ninth lord Moon is placed in second house Mercury and Mars. It is aspected by Saturn. In birth chart ninth house/lord are affllicted. In chaturthamsha, Venus is aspecting ninth house. It is causing slight affliction to ninth house.Ninth lord Moon is associated with Saturn, Mars and Mercury. Here ninth lord Moon is afflicted. In D-12 no planet is aspecting ninth house but ninth lord is placed in sixth house.2. Affliction to fourth house/lord.In birth chart fourth house is under Rahu-Ketu axis and fourth lord Saturn a retrogarde and is under the malefic influence of Mars.In D-4, Rahu-Ketu are placed along 4-10 axis. Fourth lord Saturn is associated with Mars, Moon and Mercury.Where Mars and Mercury are sixth and eighth lords.3. PAC connection of eighth lord with ninth house. In birth chart eighth and ninth lords, Mercury and Moon are conjunct and are placed together in second house. In D-4 again eighth and ninth lords are mutually aspecting each other. This PAC connection of eighth and ninth lord is not present in D-12 chart.4. PAC connection of 6th, 8th , 12th lords with dasha at birth in all the vargas. He got dasha of Venus ast birth, the twelfth lord of birth chart, placed in third house indicating movement. Venus continues to be the seventh and twelfth lord of

chaturthamsa, placed in third house unaspected, indicating movement. Please note- Dasha of third house is not good for parents. In D-12 Venus is sixth lord. Regards,Sonianeelam gupta <neelamgupta07 Fri, 5 February, 2010 9:19:44 PM Factors for Adoption

Dev Ji,D-4 will be seen because this child went to Orphanage and was later adopted by another family. So this boy had change in environment/residence. Therefore role of D-4 will come into play.Regards,Soniaaxeplex <axeplex Sent: Fri, 5 February, 2010 10:55:56

Dear Neelam ji,Since i am not a learned but only a member i would not delineate but try to deal with it.Lagna in the naksatra of sat®, in a martian sign where 9L(father) gets debilitated and with sun(karaka) is a high quality afliction.4L of mother being retro while the dispositor is debilitated and moon karaka in a maraka sign with lagna and 8L!!...10L sun in lagna in a friend's house in the naksatra of mer 8/11 seem to be a blessing in disguise.4H of comfirt with ketu(restriction) but dispositor in 5th in a jupitarian sign also helps.I have also observied that the nwanted children's chart(s)3/11H/L conection. Here 3L aspg 11L from 5th while both are in jup's signs who is a bosom friend of L/L.and also a saviour specially of children as karaka. Here since jup is debilitated in 3rd i checked dwadasamsa for elders. There jup joined exalted sat in 11th confirming the conection of 3/11!!!and also saving the child.10H in D12 has got beatiful chandramangal yoga aswell with lagna and 9L of Rasi.........Regards,gopi. , neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:>> Dear All,> > I thank Sonia ji for giving good pointers, and also reference material for> adoption. Dear Neelam ji,//The couple had applied for adoption in March 1998 but after completing all> formalities etc.,they brought the child home in April.//this gives ven-sat-sun/mo VMD.Ven in saturnine sign with the dispositor of sat aswell and sun 10L in lagna. If it is Mo pratyantar it is 9L who is asp by sat as well.Sat as 4L of mother in 5th(RY) played a big role in jup's sign who is karaka for children aswell as protector.I was curious to look in trimsamsa and found ven in lagna in her own in 5th(children);sat with sun in 11th and moon in 4th(mother) from sat while the dispositor of sat in 9th(father)!!!!.....sat's influence in adoption is to be noted. The LEELA(game) of sat though retro and jup though debilitated and the exchange between the two....aswell as the yuti in RK axis in 11th in venusian sign in D12....Regards,gopi. , neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:>> Dear Dev ji,> > The couple had applied for adoption in March 1998 but after completing all> formalities etc.,they brought the child home in April.> I don't have the exact date, but can confirm and let you know.> > Hope this helps> > Regards> Neelam> > On 6 February 2010 13:26, axeplex axeplex wrote:> > >> >> > Sonia ji,> >> > Can we know the date of adoption in this case?> >> >> > regds> > Dev> >> > <%40>,> > Sonia Mehdiratta sonia_mehdiratta@ wrote:> > >> > > Dev Ji,> > >> > > D-4 will be seen because this child went to Orphanage and was later> > adopted by another family. Thanks Neelamji,

It proves the involvement of Saturn in AD, a planet responsible for adoption.

Why 4th house is not being considered in analysis?

Dear Dev ji,4H is home, love, mother, etc. when a child gets all that again, it shows only a temporary affliction or activation of 3H for movement away from home.9H is for legacy and father's name etc, which get changed when a child is adopted. When legal issues are involved or change of dharma, again it is 9H which takes come into play.

Where 8H gets associated and and also 3rd and 10th are badly afflicted while activated, we often see a child adopted after parent's demise.RegardsNeelamOn 7 February 2010 13:43, axeplex <axeplex wrote:
