Dear Neelam Ji,Thanks for the chart. These kind of charts are rare to collect. There is a condition in Phaladeepika which partly/fully applies to this chart .It is a shloka which may be useful in future charts of adoptions too.''If the 9th house or its lord being in a moveable sign is conjoined with or aspected by Saturn and if the lord of the 12th, house be strong, the child born is sure to be adopted by another.''The idea behind the shloka isA.9th house should be a movable sign (or)B.9th lord should be in movable signC.Saturn's aspectD.12th lord should be strong. In this case,9th house is in a movable sign but with no aspect of saturn. So this point is excluded.9th lord is in dual sign(movable+fixed) and has the aspect of saturn(This is the partial application i mentioned)12th lord Venus is with benefic Jupiter and is also vargottama in navamsa, drekkana and dwadasamsa making it very strong. Its dispositor in rasi and navamsa(ie saturn) is retrograde in a trikona and hence strong.Conclusion-In other words in this chart,9 H is a movable sign,9th lord is in a sign which has movable properties and is also aspected by saturn and the 12th lord venus is also strong.Regarding the birth of the native-There is a shloka from Sarvarth Chintamani''When the lord of the 4th and 9th houses are associated with the lord of the Navamsha occupied by the lord of the 6th house, the native is the son of a paramour of the mother and not his father''This shloka shows birth out of illicit relationship of mother with somebody else other than legally wedded partner. Here 4th lord= saturn9th lord = moonNavamsa lord of 6th lord =MarsIn this chart, saturn aspect Moon and Mars.Request-I read some time ago in a classic about dividing the dual sign into two equal parts of fixed sign and movable sign -each covering 15 degrees.I dont remember it now exactly. So kindly remind me if possible.Faint rememberance - The 15 degrees in dual sign which succeeds a fixed sign belongs to the fixed part and the remaining which faces the movable sign belongs to the movable part. And Viceversa. If this division is followed, the shloka from Phaladeepika and Sarvarth Chintamani are well applicable in this chart. Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks and best wishesvishnu , neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:>> Dear All,> > I thank Sonia ji for giving good pointers, and also reference material for> adoption. Dear Vishnu ji,

//'If the 9th house or its lord being in a moveable sign is conjoined with or

aspected by Saturn and if the lord of the 12th, house be strong, the child born

is sure to be adopted by another.''//

Thanks for the above.......

This perfectly applies to the case of an adopted girl I mentioned too, though I

did not post BD of the same.

Leo Lagna, 9H a movable sign, aspected by retro Sa from 7H. 12HL Moon is placed

in 9H in lagna and exalted in navamsha.

Dear Vishnu ji,Thanks for giving the classical viewpoints on the issue. I also have seen some cases where 9H has moveble/dual sign aspected by a separative planet like saturn, there can be some alternative family arrangents for the child. E.g child living in hostels under gaurdianship of others. e.g, I have a chart where 9L/12L Jup is in 9H, retrograde and is apsected by saturn from 7H, the child has stayed away from paents when JUP MD started when she went over for studies, etc., to stay with her aunt's family. Whenver 12L gets involved,, we do see movement to another place and when we also see the involvement of 3/8 or both, there may be separation from parentsfor good.

The point about dual lagna getting fised or moveable depending upon the degrees is used to judge nabhas yogas or at times in prashna as I am told by my teachers RegardsNeelam

Dear All,The poor boy, though was born in unfortunate circumstances, was soon to have a rags to riches story. He found home in a rich household the most loving parents and is not having the best world can offer. Destiny!

Dear Vishnu ji,

//'If the 9th house or its lord being in a moveable sign is conjoined with or aspected by Saturn and if the lord of the 12th, house be strong, the child born is sure to be adopted by another.''//

Thanks for the above.......

This perfectly applies to the case of an adopted girl I mentioned too, though I did not post BD of the same.

Leo Lagna, 9H a movable sign, aspected by retro Sa from 7H. 12HL Moon is placed in 9H in lagna and exalted in navamsha.

Dear Neelamji,Thanks for the additional points.//The point about dual lagna getting fised or moveable depending upon the degrees is used to judge nabhas yogas or at times in prashna as I am told by my teachers//Yes,i am aware that is of much use in Prashna.Just looking for the source to confirm its authenticity again. Thanks and best wishesvishnu --- On Sun, 2/7/10, neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:neelam gupta <neelamgupta07Re: Re: Factors for Adoption - Conditions from Phaldeepika and Sarvarth chintamaniTo:
