The 8th House and Engineering

Dear Bhaskar-ji,

As you know, I am surrounded by engineers...Mech/Met/Elect/electronics/Civil/Chemical engrs.

So, I wanted to understand how it to apply it, without failing.

Like, I am a metallurgical Engr. So, 8,4,9 house will have a relation.

Okay, my chart shows...8L Jup in 4H Leo. Okay, relation betwen 8 & 4 exists.

9L/10L is in 12H....it does aspect (LL+6L)+ (2L+5L)+4L+ (7L+12L) by 3rd aspect.

Does it satisfy the rule ?

My friend has following (DOB 18 Mar 1974, 21:25 hrs, Howrah).....

8L in 4H... 9L in 5L (with Jup), in Parivartana with 5L in 9L.

He is a Met engr too.

I just want to understand the system & its application.

Dear Chakroborty ji,

As you also know I too have been sorrounded and connected to Engineers

since 1978 due to my business of Furnace Heating Elements(Coils).

Application for you or other grown up people-

If you are running any Dasha connected to the 8th activated, then please

be connected to the Technical Line and do not engage in other

activities. If you are in business, then keep a partner, because

partner means you are now activating the 7th house, so as to break the

negatives of the 8th. Try to have your wife near you because she also

represents the 7th.

Application for those yet to study after High School-

This I have already mentioned in my last mail. If the Horoscopes show

activation of the 8th house between age 25-45, then please put your

child in some Technical field.

Astrological applications-

Check this from the Bhava Chalit and Placidus House divisions.

I will not be able to comment on your friends chart. Pl.excuse me here.

For the same reasons that the other houses are attributed to other matters.

Why is cosmetics and beauty connected to the 2nd house (Face) ?

Why is the 7th house connected to the partner (Spouse)?

But I will explain -

The 8th house in the natural Chart appears in the Zodiac Sign Scorpio.

What are the objects indicated by Scorpio ?

Knives, explosives, Drinks, Chemicals, Oils, Petroleum, Acids, Spirit,

Ground nut, Mustard etc.

What are the places denoted by Scorpio ?

Wells, Operation theaters, Iron stores, Chemical laboratories,

What are the Occupations denoted by Mars, The Owner of Scorpio ?

Army Chief, Soldiers, Physicians, Chemists,Butchers, watch makers and

repairers, Tailors, Cutlers, Barbers, Dyers, CVooks, Carpenters, Workers

in Iron and Steel Foundries, Firemen, Locksmiths, Mechanics, Engineers.

The above vocations require tools , therefore Engineering comes in.

Because Mars is bhoomikaraka therefore whatever comes from under the

Ground, like Groundnuts.Also infrastructure which requires Engineering.

Because Mars is Fiery and Scorpio is a Watery sign, therefore Boilers,

geysers and Fire(Brigade) connected activities, therefore again Engineering

is required here.

What is the job of the Gyno Surgeon. Does she not use tools to deliver a baby ?

Is not Scorpio related to the internal Organs of generation ? Is Engineering not

used while delivering a baby ?

The Surgeon needs tools.The Electrician needs tools. The Carpenter needs tools.

All shown from the 8th house.

The Study of a Subject normally Occurs from the 9th House, and its application - from the 8th house.

But those studies where theory and Practicals are oriented together - come only form the 8th House - like in case of Engineering, or CA,

(We are now talking about Higher specialised studies and not History , Geography of Maths taught in school)
