Guest guest
Dear All, I have done some minor changes in the group, such as - 1) The group is changed to a "Public moderated group" (earlier it was a 'private moderated group') 2) A twitter account with the name "AIAIndia" (https://twitter.com/aiaindia ) is created and our messages are tweeted to the same with the help of twitterfeed (http://twitterfeed.com ). Let us try to get some publicity. Now our group archives would be searchable by google and the messages posted here would be tweeted to our aiaindia twitter account as well. Yap, good for the popularity of our group. 3) A "followme in twitter" link was added to AIA group home page so that any group member who want to follow the group on twitter can do so. (I still wonder why one would want to do so. But on the other hand twitter users getting to know of our group and becoming members here is a better possibility I think) Note: I am just experimenting with such possibilities. If others like it and start using it we will continue the same, otherwise we will default to our previous settings after some days. :)Love and regards,Sreenadh

Guest guest
Dear Vijay Goel ji, Private moderated group : To read the messages archives, and to post messages, one should become a member. Otherwise they won't be able to neither view the messages nor post replies. If members are not specifically unmoderated, the messages posted by them will appear in the group (and mailed to other members) only after the group moderators approve them. Public moderated group: Anyone can read the messages archives (without becoming a member) but to post messages, one should become a member. If members are not specifically unmoderated, the messages posted by them will appear in the group (and mailed to other members) only after the group moderators approve them. Thus the basic difference is that, for Public moderated groups the message archive is accessible to anyone (including search engines) and for Private moderated group it is not.Love and regards,Sreenadh , "vijay.goel" <goyalvj wrote:>> Dear Sreenadhji> > Hare Rama Krsna,> > //he group is changed to a "Public moderated group" (earlier it was a 'private moderated group')//> > What difference it make ?> > Regards,> Vijay Goel> > , "sreesog" sreesog@ wrote:> >> > Dear All,> > I have done some minor changes in the group, such as -> > 1) The group is changed to a "Public moderated group" (earlier it was> > a 'private moderated group')> > 2) A twitter account with the name "AIAIndia" > > (https://twitter.com/aiaindia <https://twitter.com/aiaindia> ) is> > created and our messages are tweeted to the same with the> > help of twitterfeed (http://twitterfeed.com <http://twitterfeed.com/> > > ).
