Guest guest Posted March 25, 2010 Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 Dear FRIENDS,As is well known , BPHS says that amongst all nakshatra dasas , Vimsottari dasa is " MOST APPROPRIATE FOR THE ADOPTION BY GENERAL POPULACE (LOKANUGRAHAKARINA).But (kaishchit) the other dasas may be adopted in specific cases - like Astottari,Shodottari,Dwadasottari, Panchottari, Satabdiika , Chaturiti-sama,Dwisaptati-sama,Shastihayani , andShastibayani dasas.Ladhu Parasari clearly says that the rules of Vimsottari dasa is not applicable on Astottaridasa. My discussions with savants reveal that Astottari and Shastihayani dashas are based onSarbhotbhadrara chakra and their effects should be delineated along with transits in this chakra.THE METHOD OF accessing the effects of Vimsottari dasa are given in considerable detail in Bphs ,Laghu and Madya Parasari. The whole KP System of prediction is based on this dasa.No literature on other seven nakshatra dasas is available, at least it is not in my knowledge.On the next stage BPHS gives three dasas namely Kala dasa, Chakra dasa and third one Kala-chakra dasa. BPHS says that this Kaala-chakra dasa is recognized as supreme dasa. This dasa has been explained very elaborately in BPHS AND IT SAYS IT IS EQUALLY VALID FOR PRASANA.RECENTLY , a book under the heading 'KAALA CHAKRA DASAHA SYSTEM ' by Sakti Mohan Singhof Jaipur is published by Sagar Publications. Our group member Mr. Vijay Goyal may be able to tell us about this book in detail.In third stage BPHS refers !7dashas, commencing with char dasa.And in the end of these dasahs BPHS rematks" ALL THESE DASHAAS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE UNIVERSALLY"Again BPHS deals CHAR DASA IN ONE COMPLETE SEPRATE CHAPTER . THIS GOES TO PROVE THAT PARASARA GIVES IMPORTANCE TO CHARA DASHA. ( NO DOUBT RULES GIVEN IN THIS CHAPTER ARE VERY IMPORTANT AND ARE UNIVERSALLY APPLACABLE ON ALL NATIVITIES)In this back ground ,I prefer to use Vimsottari dasha (most common ), Kaala-chakra dasa (difficultto use till birth time is correctly rectified )and CHARA DASHA ( as per Parasara version given in JH Hora,4)regards,G. Since he has found the Jamini Char dasha working wonderfully as per his submissions, and Myself was not convinced about Jamini ever, (I also have that Book under discussion), so wanted him to explain the principles, so that if convinced I too could take up the study of same and develop another approach.
