Guest guest
Dear Group, Why is " Height " in the context of " Fall from Height " taken as physical height. Sag is natural 9th house. 9th is 12th from 10th. 10th is your profession and promotions etc, or from 10th you can find the pinnacle of your career. I am just posing a question to understand what all the term " Height " could mean? Can it mean something other than physical height like falling from a horse or hill or something like that or can it also be a reference to 12th from 10th and 10th is Profession and Karak for parakram (8th from 3rd)? Can it mean something else ? I hope scholars can give your views, interpretations, understanding. Cheers !!! Ash
Guest guest
Dear Mr.Ash, The child's chart posted by me in the group is in no way relevant to the explanation given by you. U have mentioned abt the profession ie 10th house and 9th being 12th to it. this cant be applied to a child. This child's fall comes under the categoryof accidents. What type of accident whether it is due to a vehicle or due to water, due to natural calamities or is it due to fall from a hieght of 10feet. when a child falls from a sofa or a bed the effect will not be serious as that of falling from 5feet onwards. in this chart the lagna is mithuna and aspect of saturn on the IIIrd house from lagna is there. On the day of the incident mars 6th house lord is in kataka which is 2nd house from lagna and transit moon has been in 12th house from lagna ie mithuna. 2nd house maraka potential is seen. child is running Mars dasa and Rahu antara. It is probably trnasit rahu has saved his life. This is my humble analysis. I may not be 100% right on the above analysis. regards, k.gopu--- On Fri, 4/2/10, ashsam73 <kas wrote: ashsam73 <kas Sag - Fall from Height Date: Friday, April 2, 2010, 12:57 AM Dear Group,Why is "Height" in the context of "Fall from Height" taken as physical height. Guest guest
Dear Gopu ji, I started a new thread. So that it should not be confused with the current on going discussion. Kindly, do not confuse my query with the thread started by you and the discussion there in. Sorry, if my thread caused confusion. Besides, is 10th house is not only profession. Even a small child has 10th house and so does a retired person. Just the meaning is different. I would have liked people to give their opinion and their thoughts on what " Height " could mean. Sag is 9th house in Kalpurush chart. Why is it " Fall from Height " attributed to Saggitarius and what all could it mean and in what context it has been used and should be used :-). If you have some time, kindly share your thoughts, right or wrong does not matter to me, I am just posing a question and want to understand the thoughts of members. That is all. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Dear Ash, Hello. Nice to see you here. I remembered you a fortnight ago but could not locate your mail for your cell no. so could not contact you... Now you are a very accomplished astrologer so probably people may hesitate to reply on your invitations. I feel that the 9th house is not to be seen for a fall. I may be wrong because I have not studied academically for few years like many here have studied. I talk from experience. The 8th house is what I would notice for fall. If it is connected with profession, then fall from there, if with Love affairs, then fall from there, if with health house then fall from good health, etc..... It can also mean falling down froma High position of repute, to one of disrepute. best wishes and warm regards, Bhaskar. , " ashsam73 " <kas wrote: > > Dear Group, > > Why is " Height " in the context of " Fall from Height " taken as physical height. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, You are giving me too much credit. I too am learning jyotish and plan to continue to learn. Today, we all can discuss Jyotish like its never been in the history. People can be in New Delhi, Chicago, Toronto, Mumbai, London and all can read and contribute their thoughts. My question was not anything different from what people discuss. I just want to know how people interpret " Height " that is all and their view point. Is accident any different from Fall, then 7th house or say Libra is in picture. If its injury then 6th house or Virgo, if its death then 8th house and Sco. Then " Fall " and Sagittarius means what? Falling from Height then what is the reference to Height mean? We all can have different view points or our own way of thinking, so my thinking was to just pose the question and let the members just give their thought. My thinking was that Height and natural 9th lord house or Sagittarius is linked to Height, means that 9th is 12th from 10th so it can mean that one falls from a position. For a karma yogi, not working might indicate a " Fall " as 9th is 12th from 10th .... who knows.. just a thought... here 9th is again gun dham of 1st as 1st, 5th and 9th have same nakshtra lord, so does it mean as you said, a " Fallen " quality of a person? A person who is not following the " Standards of society " can reference be made to " Fallen " to describe such person? 9th house in Kalpurush chart is referred to Fall from Height and that is the sign of Saggitarius. We can atleast think logically and discuss on what " ELSE " it can mean? That is all. Please share all your thoughts. I have asked this question, for the sole purpose to understand the view point of other learned. That is all. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Dear Ash, The problem with the Modern day astrologers is that they know Shit-Astrology. They dont know Astrology at all and pride themselves foolishly in thinking that they KNOW. They dont know even the basics unfortuntaely and its a great shame for me to be in this gentry at times and be discussing astrology with them. Which is why I dont enter the discussions early. But since no one was replying You, and since I find you lovable and affectionate, for God knows whatever reasons, I relented and replied to your mail. Sagittarius is not a sign of fall. Its a sign of aiming HIGH. Look at the Symbol. A Man - an Archer about to shoot an arrow. Its expressiveness, from material to spiritual plane in symbolic sense. If this is agreed upon, then I will proceed to talk about what is meant by Fall, astrologically. best wishes, Bhaskar. , " ashsam73 " <kas wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > You are giving me too much credit. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, I did not mean that Sign of Sag is " Fall " . The sign of Sagittarius is related to " Fall from Height " . That is what I meant. What does that mean " fall from height " is what I would like the esteemed members opinion. I am just looking for different views, that is all. Each and every view might have validity. There is nothing for me to agree or disagree. You are a scholar and have a lot of experience, please share your thoughts and I hope others share their thoughts also. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Dear Ash ji, Hare Rama Krsna, //Can it mean something other than physical height like falling from a > horse or hill or something like that or can it also be a reference to > 12th from 10th and 10th is Profession and Karak for parakram (8th from > 3rd)? Can it mean something else ?// //My thinking was that Height and natural 9th lord house or Sagittarius is linked to Height, means that 9th is 12th from 10th so it can mean that one falls from a position.// Basically 'fall from height' linked with 'Sagittarius' was highly popularized by Sri K n Raoji, This stanza comes from Jaimini Book. Actually he was referring to the risks associated with this 'Sign Dasa\Antardasa' not as a quality of sign itself. {which is very nicely explained by Bhaskerji. House of fall is 8H house.} Actually as per him and my experience, i have found this whenever Sag. dasa\antar runs in Jaimini char dasa scheme, person either rises or falls in any sector where this dasa overall indicates, it could be career or accidents etc. Height could be physical or symbolic as you have explained it in above statement. So it could be both, fall or rise from position (12h from 10) or fall from height (3H Karak as you have referred). Thankyou, Best Wishes, Vijay Goel Jaipur. , " ashsam73 " <kas wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > You are giving me too much credit. Guest guest
Dear Ash ji, I thank you for ypour presence, and would enjoy discussing further, but then find lack of free time, and also lack of participations and inputs from other valued astrologers, which does not permit me this luxury. Keep visiting... best wishes and warm regards, Bhaskar. , " ashsam73 " <kas wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji and Vijay ji, > > Thank you for your sharing your thoughts.
