Guest guest
Dear Learned members, As we know Ketu and Rahu are diametricaly facing each other ( 180 deg. i presume ). Thus interpretation of 1 chaya graha ( nodes ) is bound to have effects of the other in the pair. For eg we say - Rahu transiting natal Sun, therefore ........ Yet we do not say Ketu transiting 7th from Sun etc. if these two dance togather ( parallel ), I am sure there must be some dictums in the ancient scriptures to corelate this relationship with events, predictions etc. Also if there is MD of 1of them, should not the effects of the other be also taken into consideration ? Some body had mentioned Ketu gives rise to thirst... yet it is said that Ketu gives rise to detachment amongst other things. How to corelate the two ? Note : i m currently undergoing ketu MD. But this query is not for some prediction. Only learning. Thanks & RegardsChiranjiv Mehta The INTERNET now has a personality. YOURS! See your Homepage. Guest guest
Dear Chiranjiv Bhai..... Ketu transitting natal degrees of some critical planet in the Horoscope... it will detach the person from there meaning sorrowfully... But commonsense has to be used in making such predictions. For instance if ones age is around 50-55 nturally his mother would be old that time. And if Ketu transits natal degrees of Moon (Karaka of ones mother) it may remove the mother from the son as a natrural fate ... Rahu and Ketu can be used wonderfully to time the major events of Life. You will find references from ancient scritpures in the book by ChanduBhai Patel " Nadi and Navamsa transit " . But read it slowly like you would sip a sweet Sharbat , or a costly Red wine.... Treat same for other planets and opposite for Rahu... Noe for Ketu MD dont use this technique. This is only for transits where one does not need to see the Vimsottari dasha, but will do so only to confirm the Transit results, that is vice versa of what we do normally... best wishes, Bhaskar. , chiranjiv mehta <vchiranjiv wrote: > > Dear Learned members, > > As we know Ketu and Rahu are diametricaly facing each other ( 180 deg. i presume ). Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, Thank You for your reply. You said : Ketu transitting natal degrees of some critical planet in theHoroscope... it will detach the person from there meaning sorrowfully. I noticed that an event did occur in August 2009. That time ketu was transiting over natal ketu. The passage of a planet over it did detach the significations of that planet. In this case Ketu MD was going to start in a short time. Maybe Ketu was already activated due to both - transit over its own natal position and imminent MD start. Now if Ketu is transiting over empty bhavas, then will it affect the significations of the bhavas ? Also you said ..... Treat same for other planets and opposite of Rahu. Did you mean Ketu transiting over natal Rahu or Ketu transiting over other planets Vs Rahu ransiting over other planets.Chiranjiv Mehta+ 91 9324168001--- On Sat, 3/4/10, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Re: Ketu to be interpreted in tandem with rahu ? Guest guest
Dear Chiranjiv ji, No planet including rahu or ketu can produce the same results throughout their sojourn of 360 degrees of the Zodiac... This answers your query about ketu transitting empty Bhavas. For transit Ketu over Natal Rahu (appear every 18 years), you can refer some articles on it wherever you may find it. This is also known as the return of the Nodal Axis. The best way is to see ones own chart, because no general result is going to match for every chart. What happened to you, in your Liofe when last rahu or Ketu croosed in transit over each other ? Supposedly the intensity of the results would be felt same now too in its next transit. Normally they are unfavourable results. About your other query - I meant whomever Ketu touches , find out what is that planet the karaka of ? And study the results thus obtained. Rahu will normally expand and enhance the karaks of their sgnifications, while ketu will substract or remove, or detach. regards/Bhaskar. , chiranjiv mehta <vchiranjiv wrote: > > Dear Bhaskarji, >  > Thank You for your reply. >  > You said : >  > Ketu transitting natal degrees of some critical planet in the > Horoscope... it will detach the person from there meaning sorrowfully. >  >  > I noticed that an event did occur in August 2009.
