Dear Anshev,

[ 1 ] Normally upaya are suggested for the running year , because the

planet placement will change for the next year. Even for a problem of

cronic nature the upaya might be different. Take your own case : I

have suggested that you offer a handful of wheat at a temple for

three days. This interesting upaya is to place the Sun where it could

be under the aspect of the Saturn so that the Venus is saved. Next

year again if we need to save the Venus we might have to devise a new

upaya depending upon the placement of the planets.

[ 2 ] The piece of silver has to be square in shape , therefore

wearing it as a chain wouldn't serve the purpose. Yes you can wear it

round your neck during this birth year.

[ 3 ] Keeping the mud on the roof is a very interesting upaya. If the

saturn is in the 8th and the 12th happens to be empty , the saturn

will be 'manda'. The logic of the upaya is that the mud from under

the water is Venus. Keeping it on the roof is the 12th house. Venus

is a friend of the Saturn and in the 12th house Venus is exalted.

The roof { 12th house } means under the open sky. Therefore the mud

has to be kept under the open sky.

sincerely,

Priya

Respected Priya Ji,

In the example, why do we choose the mud, and not just soil, as these are both Venus.

Thanks,

Dear anshev ,

The 'chikni mitti' from under the water is less likely to get washed

away than the ordinary soil. However , keep it tied in a piece of

white cloth. Yes you might have to replace it when it gets washed

away.
