Hello Punit Jee,

Assuming that the chart is correct, I would sugest remedial measures for Rahu

in the first and the Sun in the sixth. I feel that these two planets are

responsible for not letting her concentrate.

For Rahu, if it is possible, she should donate guD (jaggery), uncrushed wheat

grain (gehoon), and a few copper coins to a temple on each birthday (on her

birthday every year). Additionally, she should rinse about a 100 grams of jau

(barley) in milk, dry it and keep it under something heavy (a box etc.) and try

not to move this once it is set.

For Sun, she should bring something from a temple that has been donated by

someone else.

Please let us know how this goes.

Actually, there are various ways this problem can be attacked and your

analysis is not off the base at all.

Best wishes,

Rajinder Bhatia

I was going through a chart of a young lady. She is not able to concentrate

on her studies. Here is her chart -

http://www.astrosage.com/chart.asp?user=himani01

I believe it is due to Mercury and Venus's aspect (from 5th) on Moon (in

9th). If that is the case should I suggest remedy of Mercury in 5th or

Mercury in 9th?

Thanks & Regards,

Rajinder ji,

Thanks for the quick reply and remedies. Though my question was more of

academic and I request you to answer that too. I wanted to know suppose

Mercury in 5th is destroying Moon in 9th, than should we suggest remedy for

Mercury in 5th or Mercury in 9th?

Also may I know why do you think that Sun and Rahu are the root cause of the

problem?

Anyways, I'll inform the remedies suggested by you to them and let you know

whatever be the outcome.

Thanks & Regards,

dear Pandey ji,

As for Budh in 5th house and moon in 9th house, the remedy should be

undertaken for Moon and to make it benefic.Chander kaa dost Budh hai; reverse

Budh ka dushman chander hai. Also Moon in 9th house does not necessarily stand

for good education; whatever the education, there shall be no problem of

finances.

It is nice to find an academic discussion.May be janam kundli can be writen in

text form that this is janam lagan and the planets are located in so and so

house number or rashi number.

with regards,

yours sincerely,

kiranjeet

Punit Jee,

Pls. see my response embedded within your Email. There are multiple ways of

looking at a problem (as I mentioned in my earlier Email also) and this is how I

would tackle the issue.

Best regards.

With due apologies, I have a different opinion on this issue. When Mercury is

in the fifth and there are 'nar grahas' in the 9th and 11th, then Mercury

becomes a benefic and harmless. Also, Moon in the ninth with Mercury in the 5th

is really not afflicated though it delays its good effects somewhat. And

therefore, I left Mercury and Moon etc. alone.

Also may I know why do you think that Sun and Rahu are the root cause of the

problem?

Rahu is the planet which is responsible for 'khayaalaat' - and being unstable

in the first house, is causing her mind to waver. We are not talking about

intellect, we are considering the instability of thoughts and concentration. Sun

being in the sixth, appears malefic - here the person " behaves " as if she is

standing atop a hot griddle thus giving her instability due to some inherent

factors. So that is why I suggested these two remedial measures - for Rahu in

the first and Sun in the sixth.

Anyways, I'll inform the remedies suggested by you to them and let you knowm

whatever be the outcome.

Thanks & Regards,

Rajinder ji,

Appreciated.

Your explanation for malefic sun is interesting. I thought, Mercury and

Venus in 5th may be spoiling Moon. I was also thinking Rahu may be malefic

but I was not having clue that Sun is related to this problem. As always, it

was a good acedamic discussion.

There was another thought from Varun Trivedi ji that Ketu, who rules 13th to

15th year, is the cause of this concentration related problem being in 7th

and 8th in Varshphal during the time.

Thanks & Regards,

Punit Jee,

I gave away the book quoted by Mr. Trivedi so I can't say anything about the

Ketu factor in that context.
