Janam Kundali according to lalitab.

 

We will attempt to understand the method with the help of this example

 

Step no.1.

 

Erect a Kundali with the birth data 11-5-1898 ; 05:43 pm; Jalandhar, Punjab.

we get a horoscope with ascendant sign no.7.

i.e.

 

House no 1 ascendant sign libra tula, occupied by - vacant.

House no 2 = sign / rashi no.8. = occupied by Saturn.

House no 3 = sign / rashi no 9. = occupied by - Moon Rahu.

House no 4 = sign / rashi no 10. = occupied by – vacant.

House no 5 = sign / rashi no 11.= occupied by – vacant.

House no 6 = sign / rashi no 12. = occupied by – Mars.

House no 7 = sign / rashi no 1. = occupied by – Sun, Mercury.

House no 8 = sign / rashi no 2 = occupied by – Venus.

House no 9 = sign / rashi no 3. = occupied by – Ketu.

House no 10 = sign / rashi no 4. = occupied by – vacant.

House no 11 = sign / rashi no 5. = occupied by- vacant.

House no 12 = sign / rashi no 6. = occupied by – Jupiter.

 

Step no.2

 

Remove the Signs;

We get

House no 1 = vacant.

House no 2 = occupied by - Saturn.

House no 3 = occupied by - Moon Rahu.

House no 4 = vacant.

House no 5 = vacant.

House no 6 = occupied by – Mars.

House no 7 = occupied by – Sun, Mercury.

House no 8 = occupied by – Venus.

House no 9 = Ketu.

House no 10 = occupied by – vacant.

House no 11 = occupied by- vacant.

House no 12 = occupied by – Jupiter.

 

Step.3.

 

House no 1. is fixed as Sign no.1 Aries.

House no 2. is fixed as Sign no. 2 Taurus.

House no 3. is fixed as Sign no.3 Gemini .

House no 4. is fixed as Sign no.4 Cancer.

House no 5. is fixed as Sign no.5 Leo.

House no 6. is fixed as Sign no.6 Virgo.

House no 7. is fixed as Sign no.7 Libra.

House no 8. is fixed as Sign no.8 Scorpio.

House no 9. is fixed as Sign no.9 . Sagittarius.

House no 10. is fixed as Sign no.10 Capricorn.

House no 11. is fixed as Sign no.1 1 Aquarius.

House no 12. is fixed as Sign no.12. Pisces.

 

Step no 4.

 

Apply Step 2 and Ste3 to Horoscope in Step.1.

 

House no 1 = Aries. occupied by - vacant.

House no 2 = Taurus . = occupied by Saturn.

House no 3 = Gemini = occupied by Moon, Rahu.

House no 4 = Cancer. = occupied by – vacant.

House no 5 = Leo.= occupied by – vacant.

House no 6 = Virgo = occupied by – Mars.

House no 7 = Libra = occupied by – Sun, Mercury.

House no 8 = Scorpio = occupied by – Venus.

House no 9 = Sagittarius = occupied by – Ketu.

House no 10 = Capricorn. = occupied by – vacant.

House no 11 = Aquarius. = occupied by- vacant.

House no 12 = Pisces = occupied by – Jupiter.

 

This is the Natal Horoscope; Janam Kundali according to Lalkitab.

 

House is referred to as Khanna and sometimes Horoscope; Kundali is referred to

as Tewa also.
