traditional astrology;

Step 2; is Lalkitab method;

this is the difference between Moon Kundali prepared according to lalkitab and

moon kundali prepared according to traditional astrology.

Dear Kulbir ji

First of all let me thank u for starting online learning.

I use Kundali software to generate horoscope.As per that moon kundali

is generated by rotaing the lagan kundali (including sign) in such a

way that moon comes in 1 house i.e. Lagan.Â This is different than

step 1 which only rotate star position.

As in this case Moon-Rahu will be in house no. 1 in Rashi 9 but as per your

example moon-rahu comes in house 7, rashi 7.

Thank you for the lesson to draw the Chandra Kundali chart. Sir, I am not too

comfortable with the North Indian style of Chart and hence tried it with the

South Indian version.

Hope I have understood what you have said and have drawn the chart accordingly.

I remember attaching a pdf file along with the message which was based on the

request by Kulbir ji in his lessons.

And since I am not too comfortable with the North Indian style attempted in the

South India type and was waiting to know for the correction . Hence is this mail

Dear Dev ji,

I am not very sure about your question.

Though my suggestion is to get accustomed with North Indian style because

all the text you will find uses north Indian style. Also, as Lal Kitab

ignores sign and just consider house position of planet, it goes well with

North Indian style than South Indian style of chart drawing.

Dear Kulbir ji,

First of all my apology for not able to participate aggressively. I am

travelling this week and will return back to my home town this Saturday.

I'll be working more closely Saturday onwards.

Coming to your question, to draw a chart, you need to have some software

for drawing Kundli. You can also use AstroSage.com <http://astrosage.com/>or

MyKundali.com <http://mykundali.com/> for this. For Lal Kitab, I think Lal

Kitab worksheet is good (http://www.astrosage.com/lalkitab/index.asp). Once

you have the chart in front of you, you can press print screen key that can

be found on top-right corner of your keyboard. Generally this key is labeled

as " Prt Sc " . On some computer, we need to use Shift+PrtSc key. This way you

will be able to take screen shot. You can not go to MS-Word, or MS-Paint

and paste the captured screen-shot on that and save it.

There are also third-party software for taking screenshots. Windows Vista

comes with " Snipping Tool " which is very good tool for taking screenshots.

Please let me know in case of any problem.

This week, I'll also setup a wiki that will keep all lessons at one place

and also setup something for quickly drawing charts.

I am not very sure about your question.

Though my suggestion is to get accustomed with North Indian style because

all the text you will find uses north Indian style. Also, as Lal Kitab

ignores sign and just consider house position of planet, it goes well with

North Indian style than South Indian style of chart drawing.

As pointed out by you and Punit ji, that LK uses the North Indian style chart

and hence will learn the North Indian style of chart as I have got accustomed to

the South Indian style of charts.

travelling this week and will return back to my home town this Saturday.

I'll be working more closely Saturday onwards.

Coming to your question, to draw a chart, you need to have some software

for drawing Kundli. You can also use AstroSage.com <http://astrosage.com/>or

MyKundali.com <http://mykundali.com/> for this. For Lal Kitab, I think Lal

Kitab worksheet is good (http://www.astrosage.com/lalkitab/index.asp). Once

you have the chart in front of you, you can press print screen key that can

be found on top-right corner of your keyboard. Generally this key is labeled

as " Prt Sc " . On some computer, we need to use Shift+PrtSc key. This way you

will be able to take screen shot. You can not go to MS-Word, or MS-Paint

and paste the captured screen-shot on that and save it.

There are also third-party software for taking screenshots. Windows Vista

comes with " Snipping Tool " which is very good tool for taking screenshots.

Please let me know in case of any problem.

This week, I'll also setup a wiki that will keep all lessons at one place

and also setup something for quickly drawing charts.

MyKundali.comfor this. For Lal Kitab, I think Lal Kitab worksheet is good

of you, you can press print screen key that can be found on topright corner of

your keyboard. Generally this key is labeled as " Prt Sc " . On some computer, we

need to use Shift+PrtSc key. This way you will be able to take screen shot. You

can not go to MSWord, or MSPaint and paste the captured screenshot on that and

save it.There are also thirdparty software for taking screenshots. Windows Vista

comes with " Snipping Tool " which is very good tool for taking screenshots.Please

let me know in case of any problem.This week, I'll also setup a wiki that will

keep all lessons at one place and also setup something for quickly drawing

There is no question of liking or disliking as I dont know much. As I understand

Lal Kitab approach is different than others. It might be possible that Kundali

in different method is different.

Presently we should concentrate on LK approach only. Comparision with others may

be taken up later, if required.

dear Kulbir ji and Punit Ji

I have used a lot of Kudali software over the years, can you please recommend

one good site and we all use it.Â The reason being I have just viewed

webnirman.com, i typed in my dob and it gave my chandra chart, but it it the

traditional chandra chart only, which can become very confusing. I have used

astrosage.com it also is the same as webnirman.com.

I think if we are going to use these then we can only utilise it for the lagna

chart only.

Can you also clarify that the langa chart is the same as traditional astrology

and LK?

And also the difference begins then on i.e chandra chart, surya chart etc.....

One other question -Â Â would the interpretation be the same and remedy for that

matter if you read a chandra chart in LK and Trad Astrology?

First of all my apology for not able to participate aggressively. I am

travelling this week and will return back to my home town this Saturday.

I'll be working more closely Saturday onwards.

Coming to your question, to draw a chart, you need to have some software

for drawing Kundli. You can also use AstroSage.com <http://astrosage. com/>or

MyKundali.com <http://mykundali. com/> for this. For Lal Kitab, I think Lal

Kitab worksheet is good (http://www.astrosag e.com/lalkitab/ index.asp). Once

you have the chart in front of you, you can press print screen key that can

be found on top-right corner of your keyboard. Generally this key is labeled

as " Prt Sc " . On some computer, we need to use Shift+PrtSc key. This way you

will be able to take screen shot. You can not go to MS-Word, or MS-Paint

and paste the captured screen-shot on that and save it.

There are also third-party software for taking screenshots. Windows Vista

comes with " Snipping Tool " which is very good tool for taking screenshots.

Please let me know in case of any problem.

This week, I'll also setup a wiki that will keep all lessons at one place

and also setup something for quickly drawing charts.

Dear Manni Ji;

1. follow a simple rule

i) note down the ascendant / rashi /sign no. in the janam kundali;

ii) make a horoscope chart / north indian style with ascendant no.1.

iii) place moon in the house no. in this chart corresponding to the lagan

rashi/ ascendant sign no. in the janam kundali;

iv) place other planets with respect to moon.

e.g. the janam kundali has libra / sign no.7 ascendant; place moon in house no 7

and other planets accordingly.

practice it 2-3 times; you need no software for this.

2. lagna chart is same in the traditional and lalkitab astrology; except that

signs are removed in lalkitab lagna chart; house no 1 represents sign / rashi

no.1 and henceforth.

3. now you are in a position to find out the difference yourself; lalkitab

doesn't uses surya chart.

4. about interpretation and remedy; it is too early to comment on it at this

stage.

Dear Manni Ji;

1. follow a simple rule

i) note down the ascendant / rashi /sign no. in the janam kundali;

ii) make a horoscope chart / north indian style with ascendant no.1.

iii) place moon in the house no. in this chart corresponding to the lagan rashi/

ascendant sign no. in the janam kundali;

iv) place other planets with respect to moon.

e.g. the janam kundali has libra / sign no.7 ascendant; place moon in house no 7

and other planets accordingly.

practice it 2-3 times; you need no software for this.

2. lagna chart is same in the traditional and lalkitab astrology; except that

signs are removed in lalkitab lagna chart; house no 1 represents sign / rashi

no.1 and henceforth.

3. now you are in a position to find out the difference yourself; lalkitab

doesn't uses surya chart.

4. about interpretation and remedy; it is too early to comment on it at this

stage.
