Dear Leekhaji

Thanks for reminding me about this story. Compassion is very important. Anybody who comes to ask for help must be given that help. This is Dharma - our eternal nature & duty as humans. However, compassion cannot be confused with sympathy. When we cry & sympathise with another we attract their situation & the negativities attached to this. All persons cannot practically understand the difference between compassion & sympathy & how to practically manage a negative situation. A person who is on the spiritual path & conversant with these fine points understands these. I know a person of your high calibre understands this. It is my fault that I did not explain my statement in detail.

My warning is for those who seek help from the Lal Kitab practitioner. These persons who seek help are unaware of the dangers that exist in the world due to which they are already suffering & also do not know how to protect themselves from harm. My purpose is to tell them the state of mind they must keep when they perform the remedies given to them. This is to protect them from creating further hurdles for themselves.

There is another story about a Guru teaching 2 of his students. One had understood what the Guru was teaching while the other despite the repeated attempts of the Guru did not understand. Finally, the Guru picked up his sandal & hurled it at the student who did not understand what the Guru was teaching. The Guru promptly picked up the second sandal & hurled it at the other student who had already understood the teaching of his Guru. Confused, the student who had understood asked why he was hit by the sandal?? The Guru promptly answered "since you were sitting with him, your influence on his mental block is equally to blame". As they say "attae ke sath ghun be pista hain".

Some general points for better results for those who seek to perform Upayes:

Whenever donating some thing or offering in running water: please try to be bare foot while doing these. This re-enforces your connection with mother earth. Grounds the person performing the Upayes.

After performing these upayes, walk away from that place without looking back or conversing too much with the persons there. You are making an effort to release the negative karma from your destiny. Dont dilute this by involving the place of doing your upaye in other activities at that particular time.

I am just adding these points since I have found them to be giving better results to those I have advised in the past.

I am sure, Leekhaji, you have your own experiences. Of course, you can accept or reject my views as per your experiences. I welcome your comments on these points. It will help me in developing myself further.
