Guest guest
dear all instead of simple translation i will try to give u my understanding of what is written there this will be in continuation to book chapters. prarrembh.... line of hands are like ocean, and this is given by almighty, just by adding astrology here Lal kitab get created. Lal kitab ke farmaan.......... lk why there is conflict between akal(thinking=mercury) with fate (kismat=jupiter) when the fate has nothing to do with mind, the best is which is written by him on your forehead (i.e. the life will move according to your destiny, it has nothing to do with ur thinking (mercury). (hoi hai wohi jo ram rachi rakha........ one smart, hardworking fellow who has a courage to do any thing for living was just wondering why he is not getting desired result, where as one very small/poor fellow gets every thing in life in very limited period and at a tremendous speed too. he got answer......... neither extra power (efforts) nor heavy built required, whenever jupiter (fate/luck) shines the person gets every thing. (here it says almost every thing (but not all things) depends upon ur fate but later in this book it also elaborate that doing the desired efforts are also required to get the results. Farmann no 1... kudrat sey kismat kis treh ayai. it says, the astrology reads what almighty has written, the new born brings his destiny with him/her, it says all the data is in his hands in the shape of lines, the shapes and flow of line is the crux of his life, and it says that all the nidhi (which are nine) and siddhis(which are tweleve) are there in hand only. if u multiply this 9*12=108, 108 is the count of beeds of mala(tasbeeh) is completed. (as per theory there are 9 nidhi which are goverened and given by almighty and 12 siddhi which can be attained by person by doing jap or tapa. this balance sheet of 12 and 9 is also seen on hand, i.e. by seeing hand of any person you can judge what he has got (nidhi-greh phal waley sitarey jinka phal fixed hadi) and what he can get (siddhi-rashi phal waley sitarey jinka phal badalney ki koshishi ki jaa sakti hai) thats why the sadhu's or guru's who attain height are usally called by affixed name of SRI sri 108............. regards, leekha
Guest guest
Respected Leekha ji,  Regarding the No: of siddhis, as far as my limited knowledge goes, I have always heard of Asht siddhi ( " perfection " , " accomplishment " , " attainment " , or " success " ) and Nav Nidhi. In Hanuman Chalisa we address Hanuman ji as: " Ashta Siddhi Nau Nidhi Ke Data,Asa Bar Din Janki Mata " .  Eight primary siddhis being; AnimÄ: reducing one's body even to the size of an atom Mahima: expanding one's body to an infinitely large size Garima: becoming infinitely heavy Laghima: becoming almost weightless PrÄpti: having unrestricted access to all places PrÄkÄmya : realizing whatever one desires Istva: possessing absolute lordship; VaÅ›tva: the power to subjugate all. Also, besides the above mentioned primary ones, we do hear about Nine main and Ten secondary siddhis In the Bhagwat puran; lord krishna describes the Ten Secondary Siddhis as: anÅ«rmi-mattvam: Being undisturbed by hunger, thirst, and other bodily disturbances dÅ«ra-Å›ravana: Hearing things far away dÅ«ra-darÅ›anam: Seeing things far away manan-javah: Moving the body wherever thought goes (teleportation) kÄma-rÅ«pam: Assuming any form desired para-kÄya praveÅ›anam: Entering the bodies of others sva-chanda mrtyuh: Dying when one desires devÄnÄm saha krÄ«dÄ anudarÅ›anam: Witnessing and participating in the pastimes of the Apsaras yathÄ saÅ„kalpa samsiddhi: Perfect accomplishment of one's determination ÄjÃ±Ä apratihatÄ gati: Orders or Commands being unimpeded . The marital status of Ganesh ji varies widely in mythological stories and the issue has been the subject of considerable scholarly review. Several patterns of associations with different consorts are identifiable, such as Budhi /Riddhi /Siddhi.  Kindly clarify which 12 siddhis are we talking about.  Also we hear about sri 1008 sadhus ( as well). Is it " Sankalpa "  to perform any Sadhana for a definite purpose. For example most Sadhus make a " Sankalpa " to perform a specific Sadhana for 108 days or 1008 days or as long as they feel necessary.  With my best regards  Sanjiv
