In case you do not know the exact date and have a vague idea that the interview might be held in a couple of days, even then you could go to a temple and leave milk there with a mental sankalp that the milk you are offering is for the forthcoming interview. Before answering the call or even during the call, you can put in your mouth a few grains of sugar or some thing sweet.
