Do not bring back home the digging tool. [ 2 ] Bring home a little water from a well or a hand pump situated inside a Cremation ground or a cemetery in a brass container. The water collected from a municipal tap will not be acceptable for the upaya. The source of water should be from inside the cemetery. Keep this container, with 4 small square pieces of silver immersed in the water, in the North East corner of your house. Keep the lid on so that the water doesn’t evaporate fast. [ 3 ] Flush down a toilet a flower each day for 43 days regularly. [4 ] Immerse in a river 900gm Jau [ barley ] once, on the Thursday after sun set and before it gets dark. [ 5 ] Take two shining steel chhalla { simple rings } , which should be open at the ends. Immerse one of them into a river while wear the other in the little finger of the left hand the same day. Kindly clarify these- For upaya no 2, it is advised to keep water from cremation ground in north east corner of the house. My son is going to hostel and will be away from the house. In that case is it okay to keep the water in the house because he will not be staying here. For upaya no 3,(flushing down a flower each day for 43 days regularly) As he is to travel next month for his admission, can that be done from anywhere or it should be flushed from the same toilet. It will serve no purpose if the water is kept at home where he doesn't stay. [ 2 ] The flower can be flushed down in any toilet, any where. For upaya no 2(bring water from a cremation ground, immerse 4 silver pieces), is there any alternate upaya for this. Usually I dont ask for alternative to any upaya and do them religiously and accordingly, but as my son has to travel to India for higher studies it would be difficult for him to search for cremation ground and do the upaya. Secondly, can two members of same household do different upayas at same time? Currently I am doing the upaya of throwing black and white till in cemetery. Can my son start his upayas as there is little time to complete all the upayas? However he can offer a little rice at any temple for 7 days regularly, instead of fetching water from a cremation ground.
