Dear Sunnu,

 

I wouldn't know when you can become a mother next. But when you get in

a familyway next time, you should do the following to protect the

pregnancy:

 

[ 1 ] recite the Garbha Rakasha Stotra. Go to the files and download

the text

[ 2 ] Take a red thread { kalawa } long enough so that it could be tied

round the waist. Take this thread to a Ganesh temple and get it blessed

by placing it before the idol, praying that this thread be the ‘raksha

kavach’ { protective thread } of the child. Bring the thread home and

the expectant mother should tie it round her waist. If for any reason

the thread is defiled or broken, tie another through the same process.

If you can’t get a kalawa, then dye an ordinary thick cotton thread

with haldi { turmeric } paste.

 

After the child birth the same thread should be tied at the wrist of

the mother and the child both and should stay on their wrists for 18

months.

 

 

In order to have a child early you and your husband both should recite

this mantra as many times a day as you can every day :

 

 

Gopala Krishna Mantra :

 

 

Aum sreem hreem kleem glaum devakisuta govinda vaasudeva

Jagatpate

dehimey tanayam krishna twaamaham saranam gataha

 

{ O Son of Devaki. O Govinda. O Vasudeva. O Lord of

the Universe. O Krishna Give me a son. I have taken

refuge in thee.}
