Guest guest Posted April 9, 2004 Report Share Posted April 9, 2004 Hi Anne, I did not yet have a good look at the charts, but at first sight; Rahu casting an (almost) exact degree aspect on Surya in 5th. house, seems to be the explanation for the twins. Rahu; out of ordinary things, but I am sure there are other indications for this, I have to look at Saptamsha, the divisional chart for children. Also for your boys, the Navamsha charts have different rising signs. The Navamsha as you know is one of the divisional charts, a divisional chart is like a specific / focused chart derived at dividing the original chart signs using a specific number. The natal charts for the boys are almost the same, but the Navamsha's are different (again the same chart but rotated to have different rising signs) so this explains what you have mentioned about one of your boys, e.g. not inclinde to speak a lot, or something like this, which is due to Mercury (communications, speech) in 2nd. house of speech aspected by Saturn, delays etc, as you know. The divisional charts is one of the unique and strong features of Jyotish (Vedic astrology) as well as other things like Yogas, Dashas (Periods), etc.. There are I do not know, close to 100 different Dasha systems available in Jyotish which can be used to time and predict different types of happenings in the natives life. The Vimshottari is the generally applicable and popular Dasha system, but many people use many other Dasha systems also. The birth of twins is easily seen in the corresponding Vimshottari period in your chart. Over the weekend I hope to look in more detail into the charts, and will let you know anything I find. I can only interprete western astrology. In about three days I will receive Komilla Sutton's book about Rahu and Ketu. We can not apply D-9 fully easily then how Nadi of 150’th part.  some modern great astrologers apply Nadi astrology but they dont get success because they dont see all aspects according to nadi.And it is not easy to see.We can make many concepts in nadi astrology but can not apply those practically.
