This is a cognizible offence which amount to mischief and punishable

upto three years in prison. You can also book them U/s 420 for

cheating. A client can even sue an astrologer under Indian Consumer

Act and allied laws, for " failed prediction " !

 

Since Rathna has ruled, that no astrology bashing should take place

on this forum, I am not posting anything more here. Maybe we can

Regarding astrologers suing for intrusion of privacy, I think, on the

other hand, astrologers must be sued for making all the wrong

predictions or for that matter, for making no predictions at all! For

example, no astrologer had predicted about any devastating floods in

the country nor about the share market crash nor about the scourge of

terrorism etc. etc. Why do they call themselves " Bhvishya-vakta " if

they cannot predict anything before hand about the country!
