Guest guest
Dear Shri G. Balasubramanian!i, Jai ShriRam! < I know a girl who was continuously rejected because her birth star was " Moolam " .> What was the ayanamsha? Must have been Lahiri! I wish zero ayanamsha had been used! The nakshatra would have been an entirely different one! Not that the zero ayanamsha is Vedic or Pauranic! In fact, it is as scientific or unscientific for making predictions as any other ayanamsha is since all the ayanamshas are concoctions by jyotishis of jyotishis and for jyotishis! But then, the poor girl would have bee spared the tragic consequences of " having her birth star as Moolam " < She remains unmarried even at the age of 42. What have you to say about this?> There is nothing new about it! Jyotishis can make or mar anybody's life! They are more omnipotent than the Omnipotent Shiva Himself! BTW, can these jyotishis quote any shastra, right from any Grihya Sutra to the Manusmriti or any of the eighteen smritis, that talks of " Horoscope matching " . Since I have gone through those shastras myself assiduously, I may assure you that there are no such curses in any of the shastras! The Manu has advised that we must look for the qualities and even the name of the girl/boy, her/his family background etc. etc. but he has not referred even obliquely to any such absurdity as " patri melapak " . Obviously, no such curse existed then! It is all an invention by " Vedic astrologers " , irrespective of the fact that they read the Vedas upside down! It appears to be a creation of the last about a century or so since Alberuni's India, a work of eleventh century AD also does not touch this topic! < My son was married 12 years back and he and his wife are happily living with two sons. Self and my wife are still living. There is a limit for superstition of ladies. Most love marriages are successful even though star matching was not there between the boy and girl.> I wish we had more and more rational and courageous people like you around! < boy`s parents and astrologers are doing a disservice to our community. We can not marginalise boy`s parents only for this situation.> Honestly, according to me, " Vedic astrologers " are actually the greatest frauds on the Vedas, since they are really doing the greatest disservice to the entire Hindu community by spreading all the lies like patri-melapak, and Kala-sarpa dosha and sade-sati and what not! ON TOP OF IT, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING OUR CALENDARS TOPSY-TURVY, with the result that we are celebrating festivals like Pauranic and Siddhantic Makar Sankranti (there is no Vedic Sankranti, whether Makar or Kumbha etc. etc. ) on wrong days! They are doing so out of the fear of losing their sinful crumbs since if they disown Lahiri or Ramana or Muladhara etc. Rashichakras galore and switch over to the Pauranic and Siddhanti Rashsis, their clients will desert them! They do not want to lose their clients (read money!), even if they lose their dharma for doing so! Obviously, money is more relevant than dharma to them! A separate article, " Vedic astrology " -the greatest fraud on the Vedas " should be an eye opener in this respect! Then the billion dollar question is: What are our jagadgurus and " his holiness of art of this thing or that thing " doing in this respect? What type of jagadrugus are they if they are not aware of such paapakarma in the name of " Vaidica jyotisham " ? Why can't these jagadgurus raise their voices that we are celebrating all the festivals on wrong days? In fact, His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dwarka had done so more than a century back as per Bharatiya Jyotisha Shastra by S B. Dikshit, page No.532 (Hindi translation). Are the present jagadgurus also afraid of losing their " clients " ? They alone can answer that question! Jai Shri Ram! I am sorry to hear the story of Mr. Hariharan.Horoscopes are bogus and is killing the Hindu society, more among the Brahmins.Just burn the horoscopes. You can not burn the horoscope readers becuase it is acrime. Just ignore them. There is no Moolam or sevvai dhosham or suddhajathakam. 1. It is a cheap trick. 2. Even if that is true, there are really notruely knowledgeable person to read the future of an individual through thejathakam. The main reasons you have problems are that: the modernday educated girls andtheir parents think that they are superior and put a hundren thousand rules andrestrictions until they find their daughters are not married till age 40, remainsingle all their life or run away with an out-of caste or out-of- religionperson on their own as their hormones kicks in. Some Boys parents are alsobehave the same. This is how the Brahmin community is dying. They should lookfor oly a match of people with similar intersts and good behavior, and possiblysome decent education and some decent job. Not just the top education and topjobs - as these are factors that do not last.Bala N.
