Shri Utkal Panigrahiji,

Jai shri Ram!

Your not addressing the posts to anybody means you are

addressing it to every member in the forum.

In other words, all the members of the forum, excepting

you, have absolutely no knowledge of shastras or even predictive gimmicks,

which you call “Vedic astrology”.

If this post is addressed to me, since you have given the

topic as “Lesson 1 – A K Kaul” would you please quote my exact

words and then and then only your counter arguments in refutation of the same.

Could it be that you are confusing nakshtras with

nakshatra-soochis/nakshatra-jeevis?

For your kind perusal, I am posting my original mail about

dharma-shastras vis-à-vis predictive gimmicks titled “Vedic astrologers

rkead dharmashastras upside down”  separately.  Pl. counter the arguments

there in one by one.

Jai Shri Ram!

A K Kaul

Jai Shri Ram!

You claimed that in the manusmriti nakschhtras are listed

in Papa suchi,

in the same line you narrated that there is no reference in core vedic

literature there is no reference to nakscchtras or jyotish with respect

to good and bad future.

You are absolutely wrong and all of your claims are false.

In the vedic literature, Dharma Sutras explains the rituals to be done

on certain occasions,

Before giving references from Boudhayana Sutras to take you out of

your's life long darkenss, I w'd ask you to read SAPTAM KANDA OF

Taitreeya Samhita, In which mantras for Ashva Medha Yagyas are listed,

in these mantras Rishis worships Nakstras also -

Prithivya Svaha,

Antrikschhaya Svaha,

.....

Suryava Svaha,

Chandramase Sava,

Nakschhtrebhyam Svaha

Open eyes and read above two - three times, Same Taitreeya Samhita gives

List of Nakschhtras

=========== ( Reference to Use of Nakschtras in rituals for future

protection) =========

#1. Find reference from Boudhayana Dharma Sutra - 3rd Prashna, 2nd

Adhyaya, Sutra 4,5,6

Here rituals for Sandarshani Vritti for Brahmins are explained, It says

a Brahmin should take a " Danda " saying - " Sakha Ma Gopaya "

and while

going out, he should invoke protection with a prayer or mantra -

" Prithvi (Earh), Antriksha (Space), Nakschhtras etc should protect

him " .

#2. Find reference from Boudhayana Dharma Sutra - 3rd Prashna, 8'th

Adhyaya, Sutra 8, 9 and 10.

Sutra explains various AHUTI'S allotted for completion of Chandrayana

Vrata, 1st Ahuti is for Agni, 2nd Ahuti is for Tithi, 3 rd Ahuti is for

Nakschhtra and 4'th Ahuti is for Lord (Devta) of Nakschhatra.

This should be eye opener for you, Nakhtras and Nakschtra lords (Devtas)

are inegral to Jyotish

#3. Want more reference, In the same Boudhayana Dharma Sutra - 3rd

Prashna, 30, 31, 32, 33 in the context of Purnamashi Vrata Sutra begins

with -

!! Nakschatreyabhyash Sadaivatebhyah !!

Here rituals are explained for doing Havans, again it's said that in the

day of Purnmasi, sthalipak's havan first Ahuti is for Agni, then Tithi

then Nakschhtra then for Lord of Nakschhtra.

Note Down : Sutra 33 refers to Abhijit Nakschhtra.

Don't waste your life in reading downloadable free articles and thereby

making false assumptions and further circulating lie and stupidity in

the name of scholastic articles.

It's clear that you are ignorent of Vedic rituals and have never studied

core vedic literature, go and do more study.

Now, never say that in Vedic Shastras, Jyotish or Nakschtra are never

used as asupecious means or for protection of the future life.

You wish to know the truth yourself, go and read NARAD SAMHITA, YOU will

come to know names of vedic months are given on the nakschtra of

Poornmasi.
