Dear Ms Margaret

Thanks for your kind words.Yes it is indeed beautiful. As per the

time given to me(formation of Switzerland) Libra is the ascendant

with Jupiter exalted in the 10th.Libra + Hamsa yoga can together

show the balanced nature.

India being another venusian Taurus - so many indian movies are

picturised in switzerland.

I had once written an article for a magazine comparing india and

switzerland.

It is nice to know that you have been to switzerland.

Hi Pradeep,

I have been to Switzerland three times now, and adore it, and would move to live

there if I could.

I learned jyotish there on an intensive one month residential course very many

years ago also----heavenly and divine in more ways than one! The water from the

mountains taste like wine and the air is very uplifting and healing, and the

little chalets on the tall mountain sides look like fairyland homes!

Would you share the full data for Switzerland as I would like to look at the

chart,

very best wishes

Dear Ms.Margaret

Astrological learning and swiss connection sounds great.Even though i

do not know you close, from your writings one could sense an

experienced and well read astrologer.

Your poetical words on switzerland are true.May your wishes be

fulfilled.

The data passed on to me by a journalist is as follows -

1848,September 12,Bern.11.12 hrs local time(10.42 GMT).I am not very

sure abt DST.Either case Libra is lagna.

Shatabhishak and Pournamasya.Sun/Ra in the 11th - Pointing to swiss

banks and the kind of gains.

Hope this helps.

Hi Pradeep

Thank you for your kind comments, the acknowledgement is appreciated.

Thank you for the data. Switzerland only observed daylight savings during the

war years of 1941-1942, and until 1894 it used the local mean time of Bern 7E28.

It didn't adopt the S.T meridian until 1st June 1894, so I'm wondering if the

Libra lagna is according to the new mean time or the old one.

Did your journalist friend tell what event this data is derived from at all? My

little reference book for such data, which is only 100 years old, doesn't have

the asc of Switzerland.Oh---and I must convey I haven't had this book since it

was first published, just in case you were wondering:-)

best wishes

Dear Ms.Margaret

Thanks a lot for the valid points regarding Time and DST.

Eventhough the Helvetic Republic was formed in 1798 - many cantons

including the important canton of geneva was not part. Moreover there

was a later collapse of the agreements. In 1833 an idea of Federal

state(similar to the USA) was proposed and was formed in 1848.

Thus the journalist had taken the time of signing, of the Swiss

Federal Costitution in 1848 as time of modern birth.

I think,if DST is not applicable then,11.12 hrs local time applied

with deviation from GMT(0029 minutes east?) have to be considered.Am

i right?

Think it then gives end of Libra lagna. It seems you have a good

record of such events and history.

Dear Vijayadas

For the sake of not confusing further, and due to your confirmation in this

mail, I get 23 Libra 23 and what a beautiful chart it is.

Exalted Saturn in Libra, although infantile---innocence and purity is always

attractive- with a beautiful aspect from Jupiter in ninth house. Only an

astrologer would have chosen this chart, or this signing time for the treaty.

I love the fact that Saturn is aspecting Mars so closely as this gives the

technical expertise for which the Swiss are respected and renowned.

I took a look at the avashthas and they echo Kubera and magnificent wealth.

Undoubtedly this country has a bounty no-one will ever fathom due to the

respected independence of the bankers of this nation. One can't help but wonder

if their bankers are not behind the move towards a world bank control of the

world to be honest.

The fact that Jupiter and Mars are neecha in navamsa, sorry to those purists not

counting such significations in any other chart but rasi, makes me think world

leadership through affairs of treasury or banking is even more likely a hidden

evolutionary factor for world domination by and for this country.

Looking at this chart enables a truer understanding of European affairs than

anything I have seen in a long time.

The country has the same asc of my locality so no wonder I feel at home there,

but that Moon position says a lot about lakes enshrined amongst mountainous

land, and remind me is the main airport NW of the centre of the country?

The moon aspecting tenth house also gives an influence on reputation, and Swiss

milk is undoubtedly one of the exports this country has thrived on for decades.

The fact that Venus, ruler of cows is conjunct Sun in own sign, shows the

increase of wealth through the products of cows. Krishna would have loved the

symbolism:-) especially with his milkmaids---moon--- in fourth house, milking

the cows at home of course!!

Could go on forever but wont:-)

I like the fact that Rahu is in Pisces for Rahu gives height of

water----waterfalls---which Switzerland has in beautiful abundance.

Thanks for this, I think we have the right chart, but who knows someone might

yet dispute it unless we have rigour involved in confirming it.

Amazing what we can do with astrology to confirm the right chart

You are one very lucky and honoured person to live in Switzerland and I do hope

it brings you the greatest of pleasure

Guest guest

dear margaret

that was a beautiful and poetic description of switzerland.

you missed mentioning the world famous swiss chocolates, time pieces and the

swiss knife!

these are very small enterprises but the high quality seems to be the key for

any product coming out of this country.

banks are famous not so much for the monies they hold but for the fact that

the depositors/bank accounts are kept very confidential and no information is

allowed to be leaked. this 'protection' is what makes swiss bank accounts tick

other than those famous clocks and how.

during the war years of 1941-1942, and until 1894 it used the local

mean time of Bern 7E28. It didn't adopt the S.T meridian until 1st

June 1894, so I'm wondering if the Libra lagna is according to the

new mean time or the old one.

from at all? My little reference book for such data, which is only

100 years old, doesn't have the asc of Switzerland.Oh---and I must

convey I haven't had this book since it was first published, just in

case you were wondering:-)
