Effects or Not? Amsha or Chart?

Namaskaar All

1. Take a chart where in Navamsa - Sun and Moon are in Taurus. Will they not

have an effect on each other? If not, why not. If yes, why so? Suppose there

is an exchange between Mercury and Venus in Navamsha. It will not have any

effect?

2. When 360 degrees of a circle is divided into 108 parts and each part is

given a ruler. Why in Aries, some other signs are rulers? As per mathematics

0-30 degrees is Aries. Then how come some other signs are ruling some

portions of it? If 0-30 of Aries cannot have any other effect of any other

Rasi, why amshas are given?

If different Rasis can rule different degrees when divided differently, it

can logically mean to cast aspects too.

I believe people want Shlokas of the same. I would in that case, like

Shlokas for the following:

1. Which Shlokas state that you can use JHora or some other astrology

software?

2. Which Shlokas state that you should use computers and not the mode

prescribed in Prasana Marga and other texts to read charts?

3. Which Shokas state that internet email arguments help in learning?

4. Which Shlokas state by misquoting people time and again is a Dharmic

exercise?

Mature members would agree that Tarka is a valid means of knowledge and to

keep an open mind is, in my view, a healthy option. I am not too sure about

others.

Thanks and Regards

Bharat

Dear Tarun

I respect your views.

You can also toss a coin for cricket matches. Also for predicting

sex - Male/Female.

We do not need long essays in Varga chakras to see male and female

as per your logic.

I have seen some talented persons who would have had brilliant

careers if they had taken up writing as a profession.

Thus if you are not interested in shlokas ,you need not debate. You

can take charts and start ''predicting''.

This debate is only for those who are curious to know the

fundamentals as defined by Mahamunis.

Do you have Aries /Taurus in BPHS.In Varahamihira. Then what is the

problem. If Vedic is not digestable, you may invent some new name.Crux

is as per fundamental texts in Jyotish.
