Guest guest
Hello Members, This is question " Why Makar Sankranti falls on Same day. " I hope all know why, but scientifically saying that Earth revolves around sun in 365 days and 6 hours. But these 6 hours cant be adjusted so 1 year is increased in every four years. which makes a leap year. on 21 june. Summer solstice occurs. on 21 december winter solstice occurs. and on these same day the earth changes the 180 degree point , and so it moves close to sun which creates summers and vise versa, which creates winters. and if we consider 360 degree, we have to see Adhik Maas, (extra month) acording to thihis.
