Guest guest
Dear Sunil ji, This is definately a point for new age astrologers who want to decode the theory in stories. Like we say that Budh was borned by unethical relations of Guru's wife Tara and moon. but the point here comes is ...is it possible ?? can planets do that ??????????? but if we go to decode , we can say that Jupiter planet has 16 moons. and one meteor may had collide to it and then mercury came into existance. the same way Raas Lila of Shri Krishna is the atomic theory in chemistry , where Krishna is standing in centre and all atoms (gopi ) are revolving around it. in the same way sun is in centre and all planets moving around it. But i am waiting for your further mail on Draupadi's part of Mahabharat. Warm Regards, Tarun , " John " <jr_esq wrote: > > To All Members: > > The vedic story tells that Draupadi had five husbands. Guest guest
Dear John, I am very pleased see your comment. In fact, I too was thinking around similar lines. Here is what I have been thinking: As you rightly said, the pandavas represent indriyas and draupadi represents the fulfilment of desires. I have a small difference here. I see the pandavas as follows: Karna - Ear Arjuna - Eye Bheema - Tongue Nakula & Sahadeva - Touch and Smell Dharmaraja - The controller of the sense - The mind And, the 101 Karuava brothers are the distractors of these senses. To win over the distractions, the senses have to take the help of lord Krishna, practice staying away from distractions (vanavasa), don't let the distractions reach you (agnatavasa) and in case the distractions eventually reach/find you - face and and fight them - Mahabharata war. I need to think further and map the story better. Any contributions are welcome. Regards, Krishna --- John <jr_esq wrote: > To All Members: > > The vedic story tells that Draupadi had five husbands. To All Members: This particular story of Draupadi appears to be saying that it is natural for the senses to desire fulfillment through natural means that are available in the phenomenal world, including having a wife as a companion. However, it is also part of the world that the fulfillment of desires would not be permanent through the mechanics of the gunas. For this reason, the story tells that Draupadi was abducted by a covetous king. Although the covetous king was apprehended, the Pandava's king let him go to the dismay of the brothers. The story singles out Arjuna to be invincible from defeat of the covetous king. It appears to me that the reason for this was that he was a special friend of Krishna, symbolizing the divine manifestation in the affairs of humans on earth. Why has Arjuna become invincible? Because he listened to Krishna's teachings. As such, he was able to control his senses, essentially the biggest enemy of all in human existence. In other words, our mind can control the power of the senses only when it is infused with bliss from the absolute or the divine. Otherwise, it is impossible for the mind alone to control the power of the senses, signified in the Gita as the five horses driving Arjuna's chariot. Next time, we can discuss how all of this is related to the panchamsa and trimshamsa. >
Guest guest
Dear Friends, As per My Spiritual Guru- The 5 Pandavas Symbolised 1)Yudhisthara- Vibratory ether element OR Akasha tatwa (Vishuddha or cervical center) 2)Bhima - Vibratory Air or Life-Force Element OR Vayu tattwa((Anahata or dorsal Chakra) 3)Arjuna - Vibratory Fire Element OR Tejas tattwa (Manipur or Lumbar Chakra) 4)Nakula - Vibratory Water Element OR ap tattwa (Swadishthana or Sacral Chakra) 5)Sahdeva -Vibratory earth Element OR Kshiti tattwa (MulaDhar or Coccygeal Chakra) The Common wife of the 5 Pandavas is Draupadi, the Life Force in the body that is coiled or centralised in the spine and referred to as Kula Kundalini, which awakens the spiritual powers, in the spinal centers of the advanced devotee, ie,produces a son for each of the Pandava princes in each of the five spinal chakras. Mans Body is the Kurukshetra. Krishna is the Guru, or awakened soul consciousness,or meditation born intuition. I have given the above in very short here, and not mentioned the symbolics from the beginning of Creation as related to the Mahabharata, that is from King Shantanu,His wives, and his descendants, but if anyone is interested I can put them here. And if anyone is really interested seriously in the connection of smybolics with the characters of Mahabharata translated into real Life, then I can put that in the Form of 5-10 Chapters on the Forum. Best wishes, Bhaskar. , " John " <jr_esq wrote: > > , Krishnamurthy Seetharama > <krishna_1998@> wrote: > > > > Dear John, > > > > I am very pleased see your comment. Guest guest
Dear Friends , Few cents worth of my thoughts. Draupadi approaches Lord Shiva/ Lord Krishna for a suitable Husband who possesse's supreme controls on Five tatwas. Since this was against nature, she ended up marrying 5 husbands. One condition, she could cohabitate with one husband per year only and live in mind and body with him only. Symbolism, one person cannot have all compassing virtues. We are a mixture of good and not so good values.Thru Karmas we ensure multiple re-births, because we cannot help not performing.
