The sun in the 7th house does cause marital disharmony but seldom becomes a cause for such a quick divorce. Because of mars and venus together in his horoscope he could be expecting intensity in his physical relationship. Ask him not to expect too much of intensity. Just let it be moderate. He will marry again any time after november when the jupter transits to Dhanu rasi. The entire year after November will be very conducive for any marriage proposal. The delay in the sister's marriage could be due to Rahu and venus [7th lord ] combination. Even the karak of the spouse Jupiter is badly placed in the sixth house. The aspect of the swarasi mars [ situated in the trikon ] on the moon is again beneficial because the aspect is on its own rasi. And don't forget the aspect of the jupiter. Yes a debilitated moon can cause depression for which the best remedy would be to recite the stotra for moon. Both has moon strength less. one has debilated while one has amavasya. Notice that 6th is signified two times.Of the above houses only the 11th house is okay for marriage. Wjen the divorce took place (assuming the Birth time has to be rectified,which I did not, and will bring a months difference to the Divorce) native was at close of Jupiter antar. Jupiter signifies the 6,4,4,5 and 12. Except the 5th house , all the other houses signify no match between the couple, specially whenever any native is running 6 and 12 simultaneously, there is seperation in 90% of thecases. The Sun is a seperative planet for marriage especially if placed in the 7th houses, here it is doubly placed both in Rashi and Navamsha. The Mahadasha Lord Venus, is placed in constellation of Sun, You may notice, in this natives case. Also notice that the 7th is a badhaksthana for this native. The planet placed in Badhaksthana would be the prime significator for badhas or obstructions, whenever it gets power as the Dashanath or the antarnath. The 8th house Lord suppose it is Moon and debilitated specially in close conjunction of Neptune, may give the native many imaginations in the realm of sex, which if supportedby other factors in the chart, may lead to many disadvantagous results for the native. In my view, this boy had marriage forcefully because of his father's pressure and this was the reason for his depression. His mind i.e. moon is with neptune so when he is upset he is off. His venus is with mars-and aspected by saturn. This is giving high urge too. Even i have heard that neptune is a planet of negative attitude as you mentioned.
