Guest guest
What is Bhagya? I never stick to the definition of Bhagya just to materialistic gains. Bhagya is the result of what the person has brought into this lifetime, based on his past lives' karma (also notice more than one past life, not necessarily one past life). The Bhagya is a neutral definition; one who considers wealth as Bhagya, will expect the 9th house to be connected to wealth- producing houses, 2nd and 11th houses. On the other hand, one who considers spirituality as Bhagya, will consider 9th house connection to 8th house as real bhagya. For a materialistic astrologer, 9th lord in the 8th house is a Duryoga; but do you say Jagadguru Adi Sankaracharya has a Duryoga, since his 9th lord Ju is in 8th house, Kumbha? He has an excellent spiritual Bhagya, since that is what he wanted. Having given this exmaple, I do not mean that all the 9th lod in 8th house horoscopes are highly spiritual; there are several implications one has to see, in a completely unbiased way. By making statements like 'The person is not donig any karma' we are pronouncing to be biased in our views. That is all I am cautioning. Bhagya, yoga etc. are the words that shd be used carefully and the meaning to be drawn based on the context (whether we are expecting materialistic or spiritual side of the native). The same example, 9th lord in 8th house - has several meanings; for example (a) Bhagya in spiritual side of life, (b) sudden materialistic gain or loss © early loss of father, (d) no guiding person in life such as Guru or father, (e) or live distant to father, or (f) have a foster father or godfather someone who helps the native, even though he is not the father etc. among many other meanings. Typically 9th house and 9th lord denote Bhagya or destiny of the person, where his attention will be focused. The konas, lagna, 5th and 9th house (and their lords) indicate our inner burning desire; hence where these lords are positioned, will indicates where the destiny of the person is going to be, in what direction. On similar grounds, if lagna lord is in the 6th house, it indicates many possibilities, including (a) person interested in fights, or (b) person interested in law-course studies or medicine studies, © or he may be a patient or may be a doctor, or fighting a court case for self or for someone as a lawyer. Relation of 10th and 6th houses and their lords may indicate legal or medical profession, or a sports career etc. Just be innovative to find the appropriate meaning.
