A case for study

Dear Learned Members

 

I am narrating a typical happening in my life.

 

A few years back when on the career front, I was down (and almost out) for a

year and a half when a dear friend of mine requested me for my horoscope saying

that he wants to show it to an astrologer friend of his who was then in town and

staying with him. I handed him over a print out of my horoscope.

 

Next day my friend read out to me from a piece of paper on which he had

hurriedly scribbled a few words in Tamil that his friend, the astrologer, had

spoken to him on seeing my horoscope. The gist of the prediction was that I am

going to have a favorable time from my next birthday onwards and that I will be

the No. 1.

 

In my then prevalent state I had very little reason to aspire to be the No. 1

and hence such a nice prediction was considered unbelievable. I, therefore,

relegated this prediction to the back of my mind and continued with my

uninspiring routine. However, a week or so after my next Birthday, a wellwisher

of mine called me up to enquire if I would be interested in heading an

organization as its CEO. I consented without much thought and hope, as the

selection process was tortuous and there were many slips between the cup and the

lips. Also, there were some very influential contenders vying for the said

position.

 

True to the words of that great astrologer, all the processes were completed

quickly and without any effort on my part, save those that were administratively

necessary, I was selected and offered the job.

 

Now, what I would like from the dear learned members of this forum is: whether

this was as per typical astrological analyses of my chart that he may have done

or the said prediction and its fructification was due to the level of spiritual

awakening achieved by the said Great Astrologer who had made that prediction.

 

Should any member be interested in this, I would post my details to him/her.
