I would like to extend a Hello to the Moderator and All the Members

this evening. I will give brief synopsis of myself ... so that you

may know a little bit about me. I am a Cancer female and live in

British Columbia, Canada. I have moved to Canada after the age of

7. I was born in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic now). All my life

since about age 11, I have been interested in the natural world,

biology, sciences (especially about Universe/Planets/Solar System),

writing, books, history, and finally during the past 5 yrs. in

Spirituality and Astrology (for past 7 mos.).

 

I am 41 yrs. of age - will be turning 42 on July 12th. I am an Only

child and my parents live next door as we've become closer since my

father's illness. Lately, I have become very concerned about our

Environment ... and participate in a lot of community activities

geared towards environmental concerns and advocacy!! I love to

socialize, however find that I prefer to take it slow until I really

get to know people. Once I find a rapport with certain people - I

don't let go ... lol. I also love animals, in particular cats (and

sometimes dogs) ... cats I find are very loving, sincere, selective

with people - same as I am, and I really feel they are special. I

have a collection of Lobsang Rampa books that I enjoy re-reading

every couple mos. I also enjoy writing when the mood hits me!! I

also appreciate the artistic talents of others, and I appreciate

peoples honesty and frankness!!! A good friend to me, is one that

is kind, sincere, open-minded, and will let me know if I'm going off

on a tangent too much! I think I've said enough for now.
