and there is no harm in doing what u suggested also the -Nakshatra based ones

well here if time is permiting them good the stones come next to prayers and

prayers help the mental plan more.

 

u made a small concession on family upheavel I wish u had seen any family in

serious situation/s and how the kids are sandwiched or entangaled suffer

and pl don't forget all Hindu scriptures-puranas, itihasas show if mind is weak

body is weak too.

from mightyravan to prahalada we have enough reasons to see what mind power can

do. ravana gave it up for a moment and lost the big stage, Prahalad stood

seadifast with great odss still won the contest after contest on mind power,

faith.

Thank you GB Prashant Kumar and to Lakshmi Kary, for your responses.

 

1] The child is a Hindu, so any prayers suggested are welcome. The

family lost their home last year, after they were forced to file for

bankruptcy and moved to an apartment. They've been having very rough

times indeed, so the family situation may have also added to this

malaise.

 

2] Excellent point made by Lakshmi -I have not yet seen so many

vargas where Rahu and Sun co-habit, that too in such proximity!

 

3] While I do appreciate GBPK's suggestion concerning Gomedh, I have

some questions:

 

--why would we suggest the person [he is quite young, still a

student] wear Gomedh, when Rahu is the 2H Lord in Lagna in D1 and

aspecting a powerful exalted Moon in the 5th? The parents are very

worried about his continued education.

 

--besides, in D1 Rahu has rashi dhrishti as well on the 5H, 8H, and

7H from Moon! And compounding this is the fact that the 2H and in-

transit Rahu have argala on the 5H.

 

--In D6, Rahu is the 12H Lord in the 12H with Sun, aspecting the 8H

[natal and in transit], with rashi dhrishti on 2H-5H-and-8H.

 

--In the Trimsamsa, 4L Rahu is -as usual- almost conjoined with Sun

in the 3H, and afflicts the 5H Lord Guru in the 4H. This

incidentally, is also the 12th from the Arudha Lagna.

 

--In the Shashtiamsa, 7hL Rahu is in the 3h with Su-Ma, and in Kaala

Amsa.

 

--Very soon, after shaking up the 7h owned by Moon, Shani in close

proximity to natal Ketu, will move to the 8h owned by his arch enemy.

But, Shani cannot be blamed for this situation, given that he is the

KSHEMA-TARA, from Lagna as well as Moon!

 

NOT EXACTLY AUSPICIOUS COMBINATIONS, ARE THEY???

 

I have therefore suggested that the parents recite Nakshatra

Sookthams for Mrigasirsa-Chitra- Dhanishta and for Pushyami-Anuradha-

Uttarabhadra. In addition, being highly religious parents, they

easily accepted regular recitals/listening of Lakshmi-Nrisimha

Stotras, regular prayers to Lord Hanuman, and the purveyor of our

universe, Lord Vishnu.

My sincere apologies, if I have unknowingly caused you or anyone else

unintended displeasure.

 

Second, I am NOT AT ALL an astrologer! I am only a beginner, compared

to all the VERY, VERY LEARNED POSTINGS that you, and the other

learned pundits frequently place on this board. I am only a student,

a learner of this divine science, trying to help those desperately in

need, which was why I decided to spare some time for what I felt was

a family in quite dire straits. I also wanted some learned members on

this august forum to share their knowledge, which I know I don't

possess!

 

On your suggestions concerning the Gomedh and Pearl, I did not

deliberately ignore them -again, apologies! It was just that PV

NARASIMHA RAOji's thoughts on this subject seem to echo every time

this topic comes up for discussion. That is, this is not really a

Sathwik remedy, and hence unless the person concerned is undergoing

unbearable pain and suffering [whether mental or physical], it should

be avoided. Karma is after all what we have to experience, and is not

within our grasp to totally wash away. Besides, a particular planet

may not always be a benefic in all key vargas, so this adds to the

difficulty when suggesting gemstones that desperate individuals seek.

 

I completely agree with your point concerning the strong connection

between a weak body and a weak mind! No questions here, and I

certainly do not contest your viewpoints!

 

The problem is, the child's charts and the father's are all so mired

in malefic planetary combinations that it is difficult to decide

whether one should narrate the truth, or hold back and simply have

them rely on prayers. Prayers, that are mightier than any weapon

mankind has, or any gemstone we may possess.

 

After all, our GREAT MAHARISHIS would not have reached their lofty

states without the Tapas for which they sacrificed their lives.

BLESS US ALL! Hope you've forgiven any unintended transgressions on

my part!
