Atma Karaka is the planet which is having the highest degree in any given rasi in the D1 chart. - If there is a planet in 12th from Karakamsa, then take the pratyadi devata of that particular planet. - If not, take the strongest planet having rasi dhrishti to that rasi. - If no rasi dhrishti also, then take the rasi lord.
