Guest guest
I have recently been told by an astrologer that I'll have to endure many obstructions in life. And success (and love) will come late in life in the form of which I desire it to be (higher education, professorship, academic scholar). First of all, the notion is contradictory because academia is predicated on past performance, even more so for the high supply/low demand field of humanities. But my query is directed towards the reasoning behind the prediction. I didn't meet the astrologer, but according to my parents, he seemed to stress that most of my twenties will be spent in depression, which isn't far from my current situation. Certain ordeals that ended in failure simply out of carelessness or apathy have caused me to withdraw from life. It wasn't exactly a drastic change because the seeds of isolation and self hatred were sown a long time ago. Nevertheless, I don't want to trap myself in a self-fulfilling prophecy of this astrological prediction. I was born on July 17, 1984 at 7:30 AM. Firstly, as a second opinion, did my astrologer reach an accurate conclusion? More importantly, can someone please explain the reasoning in terms of the dynamics/postions/mechanisms of the stars that lead to the conclusion? Other tidbits of info which may or may not be relevant: I have a girdle of venus on my left hand. right hand: pearl ring on ring finger left hand: zircon I also wear a locket which contains the emerald stone.
