VARUNA aka Neptune aka Poseidon is the God of Oceans -

 

Saptha Samudras ( 7 Oceans) and all Waters.

 

Water is one of the five Primordial Elements (Pancha Bhoothas)

 

Lord NaaraayaNa is born out of Water - Naara = Water ; Yana=Born-

 

NaaraayaNa is one who is born out of Water as Mahaa Viraat Purusha.

 

Earth ( Bhoo Maatha ) aka Prutthvi is also one of the five Primordial

 

Elements ( Pancha Bhoothas ) ; Earth also is born out of Waters -

 

see how scientific is Sanaathana Dharma - All Life on Earth ,

 

including Earth , is born out of Water and it is Vishnu as Yajna Varaaha

 

who rescued Earth from Water; incidentally Yajna Varaaha is born from

 

the Tip of Nose ( Naasaagram ) of Brahma - another example that

 

Brahma is born from Vishnu and vice versa , a proof God is one and

 

the same whether it is Brahma , Vishnu or Shiva or Shakthi.

 

Ourbody is 3/4 ths water , so we are all influenced by VaruNa.

 

VaruNa is beyond Uranus and competes with Pluto ( Yama ) as both

 

vie for the position of the outermost planet alternately .Sometimes

 

Pluto (Yma) is the outermost planet and yet othertimes Neptune (VARUNA)

 

is the outermost Planet.

 

VaruNa needs to be correctly balanced in our body -

 

we do not want to be neither dehydrated nor suffer from dropsy = excess.

 

VaruNa is the source of food , source of immense treasure .3/4ths of

 

our World is Water and 3/4ths of our body is water ; so VARUNA ,

 

Water is Life . VARUNA is a Friend of Soorya - MAITHRAA-VARUNA.
