Guest guest
Dear Niket Just as we have body on earth and suffer even though we are made from the same atma. Same way, the atma has some body in different worlds which is given divine sweets or hellish torture as per work. The body remains till it does not merges into the self. But I am more in favour of God having better ways to create improvements, which is a little more illuminating than raw torture. Even then, who am I do debate this. At best, I shall remember to keep pain killers by my side. :-) Regards -m- astroiniket <astroiniket jyotish-vidya Monday, 7 July, 2008 8:21:09 PM Re: Re: Soul of the Departed dear monica- pls just give thought - in Geeta shree krishna says - Atma is forever - fire cant burn it, water, air, like that cant do any thing with atma(soul) so how is it possible to give this type of torture to soul. pls read this shloka in geeta then pls explore this. rgds niket - monica Astro jyotish-vidya Monday, July 07, 2008 6:26 PM Re: Re: Soul of the Departed Dear Ravindramani The discussions on that River with pus and waste and blood etc... and various boiling oil pots and hot copper plates awaiting waiting eagerly for victims is a little horrible... pheww. Guest guest
Respected bhaskarji- i understand but still these things contra with each other, it is subject of long debait, but i know no result will come after that also. so you are right on your place, in my opinion hell and haven both is in this life only, i am right on my place. so leave it. when we will die will see haven and hell and then we discuss there through mail, hope god must have internet in both of places. rgds niket - Bhaskar jyotish-vidya Monday, July 07, 2008 8:30 PM Re: Soul of the Departed Bhai astrokinektji, Sorry for coming in . The Gita when it says like this, it talks about the soul - atma, in its original self, ie. without its coverings of the other Koshas. To give punishment or pleasure, a new body is given to the soul. This body does not die till it is made to suffer or bear the pleasures of heavens. Once this job is over then , back to the next stage in evolution of the soul. The soul just does not leave the body when one dies. It takes alongwith it the Vasnamaya Kosha which contains all the experiences the soul has undergone uptil that moment, along with the records of unfulfilled desires and rinabandhans, which await to be completed when its next given a new birth. What is burnt on Earth or cremated is the Annamaya Kosha or the human body, but the rest leave up with the soul. Unless and until the Ananadmaya kosha dissolves, the soul would not bear the features as mentioned in the Gita. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " astroiniket " <astroiniket wrote: > > dear monica- pls just give thought - in Geeta shree krishna says - Atma is forever - fire cant burn it, water, air, like that cant do any thing with atma(soul) so how is it possible to give this type of torture to soul. pls read this shloka in geeta then pls explore this. > > > rgds > niket > - > monica Astro > jyotish-vidya > Monday, July 07, 2008 6:26 PM > Re: Re: Soul of the Departed > > > Dear Ravindramani > > The discussions on that River with pus and waste and blood etc... > and various boiling oil pots and hot copper plates awaiting waiting eagerly for victims is a little horrible... pheww. > Even having a boat to cross the river is not going to be easy. > That is gona be a one heck of a horrible time. > > They seem to use very much the things found on earth, even the name is same.! > I wonder if with technology changes they will also upgrade their torture methods or if they have been the same since millions of years.!! > :-) > > Someone somewhere sometime back described that, his familys pitra came down to describe the state of atmas in various regios. > He said something like, lakhs of atmas tied to thick chains and being beaten and all shouting and crying. > Much worse than Nazi camp seems like. > > I wonder why even gods and their managers have to use so much violence to cure violence and other defects. > Apparently seems to be very un-godly. > > Regards > -m- > > > ravindramani <ravindramani > jyotish-vidya > Sunday, 6 July, 2008 10:30:43 PM > Re: Soul of the Departed > > Dear Babu, > > I would like to suggest the following book " WHAT BECOMES OF THE SOUL > AFTER DEATH " written by a great soul, which is available free for the > readers so far as the same is not used commercially or otherwise. > > It is a very good book. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar-ji The book, I ordered it from the www.amazon.co.uk, at a cheaper price, just before I read your message! I need to know which planet caused her death. She had Sagittarius ascendant, The Jupiter was in the 9th house and I always thought that she would live a long life and at the end she would be pious because of the The Jupiter's aspect on the lagna. Of course, she had negative traits but I I thought The Jupiter would negate them although he was weak .She used to do the Ganapati Puja. I do not know. This is something like CATCH-22 situation: If this...........so that. If that.............so this! JO HONA TTHA WUH HO GAYA, JO HONA HEY, WUH HOYE GA. ( QUE SERA SERA) Regards. Babu. Guest guest
Sir, Astrologically speaking death is very meaningful. Kindly remember that the lagna is the 5th from 9th (The present birth). What does it mean? It means that the life of the individual is the result (progeny – offspring) of his own punya his past karmas. The lagna decides the quantum of prana (inhalation and exhalation) one has to use/consume. (longevity). Hence the question of death is connected with the 7th house very intimately. Parashara instructed us to consider this house for marital happiness. You would kindly appreciate the fact that the Hindu philosophy considers life is emerging form two polarities, Purusha and Prakriti, the positive and the negative forces of manifestation. (The man and the woman) When I consider 1st house, the Purusha, the element of creation, by default, 7th house stands for the element known as Prakriti. Prakriti is the innate, built-in vital energy; Purusha is the energy on the move, the expression of the Spirit in matter. In the marital phenomenon, this cosmic principle comes into play. Man expresses himself through his wife. Lord Shiva for manifesting His creative potentialities requires Parvati, the Universal Mother. At the same time the quantum of prana granted to the individual, at the time of his birth, as per the 7th house activities get dissipated. When all the energy with which he was born has exhausted its creative functions, the person's physical life ends. He moves on to the next realm of manifestation, the higher planes of creation. Now, the second half of his chart needs the attention of the astrologer to understand what is store in for him? It is the domain of the 8th house that the region where the soul proceeds after death, the plane of non-physical existence. Obviously, you can view this house as first house for considering the soul's journey in the astral world i.e. the plants in 8th house or the planets aspect indicate the nature of death. Hope this would help you to some extent. This is my limited understanding of the subject. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani

Guest guest
Hi All It is said that the following prayer really helps the Soul of Departed, even after all prescribed actions and duties are done. " O, Dear (person name)Ji, I pray that you get a place in the feet of Lord Shiva " . Absolutely nothing else needs to be asked or prayed for. The all knowing god will take care of " everything " in best possible manner. Asking too many specific things can be counter productive in any prayer. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramani, I sincerely thank you for this EXCELLENT post. The point's I particularly liked are 1. The current birth is the " child " of the previous punya or papa activities (1st is 5th from 9th) 2. The first house is purusha - the person him or herself, and is kinetic energy. The 7th House is Prakriti, the person's nature , " other half " , etc. and is potential energy.
