Vasantha Navarathri begins today. Actually this is a very auspicious period for those trying to achieve some siddhis. Saradha navarathri is auspicious for general improvement and peace in the family while this Vasantha Navarathri occupies pride of place for saadhakaas. I hereby request all our members to recite any sthothra on Devi Forms and become recipients of Her Grace. She is Lalitha - one who is easily pleased even if Her name is uttered playfully or ignorantly. Those initiated into Shri Vidya japam can do that at least 1000 times daily these nine days. Reciting Sundara Kaandam for these 9 days is auspicious for marital prospects. Listening to or chanting Shri Lalitha Sahasranaamam, Chandi paaraayanam, Soundaryalahiri, Lalitha Navarathina Maalai, Mahishaasura Mardini Sthothram, Mookha panchasathi, etc. will prove very very auspicious. Spiritual aspirants can chant any of these as per their time and convenience. Others who are too constrained due to their tight schedules can just chant " Om Shri Maatre Namaha " the first naamavali of Lalitha Sahasranaama whenever and wherever possible remembering that She is our Mother.
