Check the Navamsha position of these planets too, whether they mantain and retain good positions, or else loose them. In Navamsha (at least in my version - navamsha lagnas seem slippery) Su is ruling in Asc. Simha, and Sa is with moon in Pi. Saturn however is Retro. Nakshatra is Revati 4th pada. I read somewhere that those born in that particular rasi sandhi (betn jala and agni) have short life spans. Both Sa and Sun are in Kendras, but with Sa being retro and Sun being lord of 8th i wondered as to life span of this person. She is currently studying for a degree in relation to the medical field, not medicine itself but speech pathology. However, I am not sure if this is as per BPHS or a generally accepted concept. I request other memebers to comment on this. Even if You use Lahiris, there would be only 6 minutes of difference, but degrees would remain same. Now the whole equation would change. But in any case, whatever be the Lagna, The lagna Lord is Saturn itself, whether Capricorn and Aquarius, it also is natural Karaka for Longevity, so in both cases , the strength for longevity is there. Jupiter,Mars and Sun, all strong. Moon is a potential problem, but childhood is over, so balarishta yoga is not to be seen. I do not feel there is problem for longevity. Ravi MD currently, followed by Moon and Mars, and also Rahu, do not show any inherent danger. Moon now is Amavasya, but Uccha of Sun and Saturn remains. Any thoughts on the Ucchabhanga mentioned by Krishna? Ju is now Aatchi in 11th - might explain her upteen friends. Cp Lagna with Sa as 2L in 10th seemed to explain her career choice is speech pathology to me, but now Sa is in 9th and 2L is Ju , 9L Ve. Another thing that strikes me is that I noticed that Aq lagnas generally tend to be philosophical in attitude, this person while religious minded is not much philosophical. [ Im only beginner in jyotish so I may of course be terribly off the track. Astrodienst gives the same and confirms the TZ is 8 hours East. Are both independent atlases I used wrong? Please advise. They do not wish to do hard work before presenting their product before sale to general public, but just wish to straightaway get into collection of money without a care, of what they are selling. I use Astrocamp software, considered the best amongst, the Nakshatra astrologers, but it seems they do have many problems in their data feed, which has come to my notice, a few times,more than necessary, or tolerable. The calculations are perfect, but one has to check the Time Zones and Lat and Long, always from some authentic source,before we press the enter button. I just now called them on phone, for this faux paux, because I find TZ of +8 hours even in Lahiris Ephemeris, for Singapore, which is the best in the world.,published from Calcutta. And in my software which I possess, it is shown as +7.30. After some discussion, they accepted that +8.00 is right. But how many astrologers are taken for ride, who do not have access to discussions like we have,in this Forum, God knows. One more thing, we have to continously check the timing of our Computer settings for the clock, it slows down sometimes, and creates wrong outputs, when we make a Prashna lagna . I had this problem last night, and I am not sure, how many wrong Prashna Kundlis I have made, til now, because I checked the time, with the Pc settings (In India we have to dial 174) , about a month back, and yesterday there was 13 minutes difference in my PC time and actual time.
