Dear Wendy,

Thanks for your gudiance. Just one last question on this thread.

Please answer after the weekend:

Looking at nakshtra parivartana between Ketu and Mercury, is it

correct to expect the 8th house results during Mercury MD

itself?

Regards,

Krishna

Dear Krishna,

No doubt Mercury will be influenced by the nature/position of nakshatra

lord.

Thanks dear Wendy. What I want to know is if the influence is

enhanced due to parivartana of nakshatra lords.

Dear Krishna,

What we can say (with certainty) is that it will be more powerful :-)

I think the two main points to remember are;

1) Ketu benefits from the intellectual influence of Mercury.

2) Mercury can be disturbed through association with Ketu.

You need also to look at the (other) influences on Ketu such as his

dispositor etc. for a deeper understanding of his temperament. As we know,

all planets (including the nodes) manifest differently in each

horoscope...depending upon their association with other planets.

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Wendy,

Thanks for your inputs.

I conclude that Ketu should give benefic results based on the

following points:

- Dispositor Guru is the 5th lord in the nakshatra of yogakaraka

Mars and Guru dasha was extremely good

- Gets Jupiter's aspect (by sphuta drishti)

- Going by the dictum 'Kujavad Ketu', and Mars being the

yogakaraka

- A natural malefic in a dusthana is a good placement

Only unknown being Ketu's nakshatra lord Mercury's main period

is not experienced yet. Looking at Budha:

- placed with Lagna(enemy sign though)

- conjunct friend Venus

- very strong 4th house asepect from yogakaraka Mars

- lord of 2nd and 11th

- in Kendra in Navamsha

- disposited by yogakaraka Mars in Navamsha

I conclude that Mercury should be favourable as well.

It is interesting to note that Mercury is conjunct Ketu in

Navamsha. That adds to the bond between Mercury and Ketu, which

is already strong.

Thanks for your guidance so far.

Regards,

Krishna
