Dear Sir,

Yes you are so right when speaking about 'suffering' .... many people have many karmic forces affecting their present lives ... it seems to me however, that if one reaches a particular level of 'enlightenment' .... they may turn their suffering to wishing to 'serve others' ... perhaps this is the reason why you chose the profession you went into!

I have completed a Diploma program in Social Work .... but have found myself doing other jobs (not related) due to shortage of work for Social Workers in my country ... but also because it seems to be a path that I'm not quite ready to embark on just yet!! Nevertheless, each time a person stops to talk to me on the street, on thebus, in the store ... and they begin to tell meabout their experiences and life ... I feel in my heart I am already a 'Social Worker' ... and whenever I can lend my 'heart' and 'ear' to someone in need .... i feel happier and more fulfilled.
