This is definitely a very rare chart for the following reasons: - Moon is in Gandantha not only in Rasi, in Navavamsha as well! - Though Moon is a strong vargottama, it does not help as Moon is in Gandantha - Moon is in the 8th in Navamsha - Moon is afflicted by Sani in Navamsa There is no doubt this is an alpayu case. The critical period is Venus-Mercury period, which has just started now. I don't think she will survive this period. Regarding Gandantha Moon: If I'm not mistaken this threatens infant mortality, and since the native has reached adulthood we could assume this danger to have passed...possibly due to the presence of Long-Life (Pumayu) Yogas i.e: 1) 8th lord exalted in Kendra, associated with benefics. 2) 12th lord Jupiter in 12th Long life (religiousness etc) is also indicated if the lord of Navamsha holding 6th/9th lord is conjunct Sun... Note: Lagna/2nd lord Saturn, karaka for 8th/12th (houses of death), and 8th lord Sun, karaka for lagna, are enjoying exaltation in kendra's...their mutual aspect is said to strengthen the qualities of integrity, responsibility, spirituality etc.. But this is a matter of contemplation, since all of the country cannot have actually the same Time zone, from the farthest west to the farthest East. I would keep this matter subjudice till I am able work personally on the Map of Malaysia, and satisfy myself,also for the longevity factor, somehow, am not able to believe that she is having less of same. I am myself a Palmist and studying medical palmistry currently. The Line which we consider as the Life line, does not show longevity all the times, in fact it is known as the " Vitality Line " . My own wife and her 2 real sisters, have a small life line identical in all the 3 palms, showing longevity till 25 years only, if we accept the normal dictums of age measurement, but all the 3 sisters have crossed 40 + years of age and, enjoying breath. In this chart, the Lagna Lord is strong, the 8th lord is strong,Lagna,though connected to badhaka sthana, still does not confirm Short age. I would not confirm this so easily without going in some deep study. I may come in with more inputs ,later on, may not be in conformity with the comments of the experts, but sometimes simple Simon may also be able to make the pie. Theres no " ucchabhanga " then.// It's necessary (always) to think things through carefully before applying any dictum. Consider who is aspecting who and what is their relationship. In this instance SA/SU, though natural friends, are temporarily neutral; not harmful, not especially helpful...indifferent we could say. Both represent the native herself; Saturn as lagna lord and Sun as karaka for lagna. Sun owns 8th, no doubt, but we need to remember the dictum that 8th lordship of Sun does not become evil...especially in this instance where Sun, conjunct 9th/10th lords, is aspected by Jupiter. In my opinion, this mutual aspect between exalted lagnesh Saturn and exalted Sun gives rise to an exalted nature. No doubt the life, like most, is not free from difficulties with Mars, Mercury and Saturn all in retrograde motion whilst Mercury is combust. Unfortunately I have to leave this here for now...hopefully I may have more time to spare tomorrow.
