He has exhalted jupiter along with sun. It is in combustion. He should wear yellow sapphire life long & emerald only for finishing his studies. Guest guest
Dear Harry and Sejal Sun has not combust jupiter as it is more than 11 degrees away from jupiter - it is clearly not combust at all! In addition to this - jupiter is exalted in cancer so why you are telling this man to wear a gemstone which is the house of the 6th house of loss is beyond me - plus it is already strong! - there is no need for a yellow sapphire Gemstones should be careful analysed by looking at the lordships and the current dasha running , the planetary position its aspects and for what use the person wishes to use the gemstone. Since the lord of obstruction is with mercury however i do agree with the fact that she should wear an emerald but not necessarily for education purposes. kind regards sorabh jyotish-vidya , " Haresh \(Harry\) Nathani " <haresh1405 wrote: > > Dear Sejal > Is ur husband appearing for exams in medicines or MBA. Guest guest
Hi It depends on the planet - different planets have different degrees of combustion - in the case of jupiter it is typically 11 degrees. jyotish-vidya , Sejal Maheta <sbmaheta wrote: > > Dear Sorabh and Harry, > > Thank you for your response. > First, i would like to point out that my husband was suggested to wear yellow sapphire and therefore, he recently wore one. Guest guest
Dear Harry, Sorabh, Sejal and All, Without doubt, whenever discussion groups turn their attention away from meaningful discussion between astrologers (and students of astrology) - focusing instead on personal consultations - conflict invariably arises. Each member is encouraged to give his/her views on any chart which should be open to amicable/constructive discussion by all members. My contribution to this discussion is regarding the nature of Mercury. As we know, Mercury is a fickle planet who adopts the nature of the planet/s he associates with. In this instance he's combust 2nd lord Sun whilst being conjunct F/M Saturn. Mercury, therefore, has the disposition of a natural malefic in this chart. Further to this Mercury has 6th as his moolatrikona. Perhaps, instead of asking others to stop interfering, it would be worthwhile discussing the pros and cons of wearing emerald. I might point out quickly (before I have to get ready for an appointment) that Mercury is a temporary enemy of P/D lord Ketu who occupies 9th house of higher studies...something to think about? Guest guest
Correction: ///Further to this Mercury has 6th as his moolatrikona./// My apologies! In a bit of a rush here. Mercury, of course, owns 3rd/12th making it both a natural and functional malefic for this chart. Jupiter owns 6th. ________ Dear Harry, Sorabh, Sejal and All, Without doubt, whenever discussion groups turn their attention away from meaningful discussion between astrologers (and students of astrology) - focusing instead on personal consultations - conflict invariably arises. Guest guest
Dear Harry, Hopefully you won't mind if I offer my thoughts on Jupiter in this chart. As I'm sure you're aware, Jupiter is an important planet for this native being dispositor of lagnesh Moon whilst occupying Moon's own sign Cancer. As per my calculations (using Lahiri ayanamsha) exalted Jupiter, occupying lagna (02:19:22), has escaped combustion being almost 27 degrees from Sun. If I recall correctly Sejal said the native had previously been advised to wear Yellow Sapphire. The reason for this should be clear given that Jupiter is karaka for both houses of education (2nd/9th). I ask all to consider this Jupiter in light of his lordship of 6th and his conjunction with 2nd lord Sun. As we know, Sun is a significator for doctors whilst 6th governs such things as care of patients etc.. Guest guest
Dear Wendy I appreciate on ur query & hv listed below the reason for recommending the yellow sapphire gemstone The combustion of Jupiter from Sun is 12.00 degrees. In my practical experience I have observed whenever any planet when it is away from the range of degree of combustion, they always come back to me saying that they are not getting benefitted during the maha dasha/antar dasha of planet when it is away from the range of combustion. But when I asked them to wear the gem stone of the same they start experiencing the results. This has happened with many of my clients whom I see over here. Hence I always recommend to wear the gemstone evethough it is away from the range of combustion. Pls note that Jupiter or sun does not makes one doctor. It is Saturn which makes one doctor. Jupiter makes a person an MBA or Accounts or management Professional or teacher or astrologer or councellor. Pls read my mail to Sejal carefully. I had asked her specifically whether her husband was doing medicine or MBA as in her husbands horoscope both possibilty is their. He has Saturn with mercury in 2nd house. She replied me saying he is doing medicine. This nobody could make out but just asked a general question that he is doing something technical, but I could make out from his horoscope that he is doing med or mba. Whenever saturn sits with any planet or aspects any planet makes a person doctor. Satrun with sun or mars makes a surgeon. This I hv observed in as many as over 15 doctors horoscope. I always keep doing research on my recommendations and accordingly implement the same. On the site we do not get any feed back except the same people keep on repeating the same thing over and again thus confusing themselves. This is what Sejal has done. Whenever moon is afflicted this always happens. From the 2nd house we see the basic education & from the 5th house we see advanced education. Doctors need not have their planets in 2nd or 5th house. It can be seen in any house. The results of success of profession varies in the house they are placed. For a person who is pursuing higher education like Phd we see from the 9th house. Any other query u have u are always welcome to ask Thanks Haresh(Harry)Nathani Vedic Astologer Cell +91 98672 14103 (Mumbai,India) Wendy Vasicek <jyotishvidya jyotish-vidya Friday, 7 December, 2007 12:26:55 PM Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Harry, Hopefully you won't mind if I offer my thoughts on Jupiter in this chart. To the best of my knowledge these are the various connections to education for houses 2, 4, 5, 9. 2) Primary education 4) Ultimate results (degree etc) 5) Inclinations of the mind (intellect) 9) Higher education Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotishvidya <jyotish-vidya > Saturday, December 08, 2007 7:12 AM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Harry, For some strange reason this went to my AntiSpam folder and I've only just picked it up now? You Wrote: ///Pls note that Jupiter or sun does not makes one doctor. It is Saturn which makes one doctor./// First important distinction: I referred to Jupiter's connection with health/healing due to his lordship of 6th house of health (healing occupations etc)...and not forgetting of course Jupiter's lordship of 9th which is also connected with medicine. Secondly, according to the sages, Sun is, without doubt, a significator for health/health matters etc.. Again, according to the sages, Saturn rules (in general terms) brick laying, pottery, masonry, plumbing and other laborious and uncongenial employment. Of course other elements such as dispositor, star lord, aspects etc will also have a big say. I'm sure you're well aware of this. ///Whenever saturn sits with any planet or aspects any planet makes a person doctor. Satrun with sun or mars makes a surgeon. This I hv observed in as many as over 15 doctors horoscope./// Please do look closely at the chart in question and observe 10th lord Mars, in 10th from Moon, occupying nakshatra of lagnesh Moon whilst aspecting Moon itself in 6th...what does this suggest? ///From the 2nd house we see the basic education & from the 5th house we see advanced education./// Agreed! PS: As this is a discussion group intended for the sharing of knowledge it would be good if you could give some reference in support of your views... I'm sure members, like myself, would appreciate this :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___
Guest guest
Dear Krishna, Yes indeed! I'd forgotten about Deepak Chopra...an excellent example! I will take a look at his chart later this evening (time permitting). ///Good to see you back in the forum./// Thank You! There has been so much happening around me lately that there really hasn't been time for the group. My husband has started his own small business and I've been relegated the task of (virtually) setting everything up for him along with the ongoing responsibility of managing the office side of things. All this at a time when I myself have not been very well, so I just had to put something aside...the list therefore had to go to the back-burner for a time. My grand children and great-granddaughter have moved to Australia from UK and this has (also) been a big focus for me. On top of all this my last surviving sister (Bernie) has been very ill (in and out of hospital) with colon cancer. So life has been pretty full-on as you can imagine. I do hope to be on the list more regularly in the future but not so much as I used to be, I'm afraid. Nice to talk to you again Krishna :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Krishnamurthy Seetharama " <krishna_1998 <jyotish-vidya > Sunday, December 09, 2007 5:09 PM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Wendy, Good to see you back in the forum. I was really mising you a lot! Coming back to the discussion on the charts of doctors, I have the chart of a doctor in which Sun and Mercury are conjunct and Jupiter is disposited by Sun. It may not be difficult find such combinations. I have an interesting example, in the chart of a famouse person and a doctor - Deepak Chopra, all three Jupiter, Sun and Mercury are in the same sign along with Mars (in Libra). Saturn is alone in cancer, and is not interfering with the other planets in Libra either by conjunction or by aspect. It only aspect Moon in Virgo. Guest guest
Hello all, When so much discussion is going on sun - jupiter conjunction, I wish to add an input from my own horoscope. I hope Krishnaji and mrs.Wendy would remember me from my discussions on parivartana yoga and yogas in general. Well, this is what I wish to write: I myself is a dentist, I too have sun - jupiter yoga by parivartana in my chart.Secondly, my 10th lord is in the 6th house of service and 6th lord Saturn is in 2nd house.Thirdly, Navamsa of 6th lord is in the 6th house itself. I should say saturn in my 2nd house has made me hard-working and I feel my responsibilities are going to increase over the next few years. But then, I enjoy the tensions that circles round responsibilities. I may not be able to add much over my interests in service. I am still young to write on this but in the years to come I have good intentions to help the needy who cannot afford complex dental treatments. Guest guest
Dear Wendy I am not surprised on the debate which has started on doctors. I can only say that the basics are either not clear or they have not been ubderstood. I have said that saturn with another planet in conjuction or aspects on another planet makes one doctor. It can be in conjuction with jupiter/sun/mars/venus or aspect on any one of them. For a surgeon we have to establish the relationship of mars/ketu/rahu/surya with the house which deals with hands in any horoscope. Pls read my mails carefully before coming to any conclusions. One of the group member Dr. Manasa from Cochin has also send his comments. He has also send his birth details. Now I have seen his horoscope & Saturn in 2nd house has its 3rd aspect on 4th house where merecury is placed. That has made him doctor. Now mars in lagna is having its 4th aspect on its own house. I hope u know that mars also makes one good dentist. So aspect of satrun on mercury & aspect of mars on mercury has made him a dentist. Now he has Jupiter in lagna along with rahu & mars.. Jupiter with rahu gives him a guru chandal yog & guru chandal yog in lagna is not good as it makes one person greedy & tendency to exploit others & also egoist. He may off & on may be having health problems as he is under rahu maha dasha. During rahu/surya dasha their is a possibility he may also have an heart problem or heart attack. I would appreciate if u revisit the books & understand the concept. It is very very important that basics should be very clear. Else we will land up making wrong predictions & loose goodwill. Intially when I read the books of Parashar I thought I could become a good astrologer. When whenver I did prediction I found something is missing in me. I was not able to convince my clients. Then I went and learnt from a bonafide Guru & then I realised that what books gives us is just theory. No doubt I still follow Parashar's preaching, but the authors who wrote the books, the questions arrised that did they really understood what Rishi Parashar said or they gave their own interpretations. This toppic very speculative & always find unending debate When I started following what my Guru taught me I found success & accuracy in my predictions. Now one thing I always ask myself that the authors who wrote books on Parashar are they actually successful as bonafide astrologers. Only Parashar's preaching makes one a bonafide astrolger but one should also interpret the same in reality. For this one has to keep on doing research, My Guru still keeps on doing research. He has been teaching & is a succeessful and accepted astrologer for past 20yrs We can only learn when we start having realisation whether our predictions & suggestions are giving the requried results. By sending mails what the books say we cannot convince any one except raise doubts. I would have appreciated if u could have asked the logic or scientific reason behind my suggestions. If u give a right prediction & ur suggested remedies when implemented start giving the required positive results that is where we win peoples goodwill & faith & we keep on getting references. Without goodwill & faith no one can become a successful astrologer. If we make mistakes we should be the first people to accept the same & mend ourselves rather having debates. So there is Guru Mangala yoga a benefic one, but is there a guru chandala yoga? In my search on yogas a few months ago, I have known that guru chandala yoga occurs when rahu is conjunct with a weak jupiter. In my case jupiter is not weak as it is in vargottama. Ofcourse, Rahu conjunct with mars would cause me unnecessary troubles.Mars in lagna makes one argumentative and short tempered; egoistic. Genuinely, I am not argumentative though I try to assert my opinion seeking a positive outcome.Regarding greed, yes I am greedy for knowledge and I would love to be an eternal learner for that matter. With gods grace, my parents are rich and they always gave more importance to my studies rather than anything. I agree with your view on health issues but all minor ones. I may have a heart problem at a young age just like what my father had. It's all in the gene and for that reason I have a vigilant approach to my diet. As I understand, any troubles that I have in my horoscope are still under control for the greatest benefic of all Guru, a functional benefic to my Lagna is in Ascendant. However, after 20yrs of study/practice and finally teaching through the JyotishVidya forums, there really are very few doubts (if any) that need clarifying :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya .com http://groups. / group/jyotish- vidya ____________ _________ _________ _______ - " Haresh (Harry) Nathani " <haresh1405 > <jyotish-vidya> Saturday, December 08, 2007 10:41 PM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Wendy I do not hv any references to support. I once again repeat Jupiter with saturn makes a dr. & not jupiter alone. Open some doctors horoscope & study them. If u have doubts always come back to me I can give the required predictions. Guest guest
Dear Harry, ///I am not surprised on the debate which has started on doctors./// I would prefer if it were treated as a discussion rather than a debate. ///Now I have seen his horoscope & Saturn in 2nd house has its 3rd aspect on 4th house where merecury is placed./// You're absolutely missing the point here Harry! Note Saturn's lordship of 6th house of health... You should also consider the possibility that 10th lord placed in 6th might well indicate a career associated with health in some way. Consider also 10th lord conjunct Moon in this house and both occupying nakshatra of Sun who is disposited by none other than Jupiter who is closely conjunct 6th house karaka Mars. Both Mars and Jupiter occupy nakshatra of Venus himself who BTW owns both 10th from lagna AND 10th from Moon. With 10th lord's dispositor (6th lord Saturn) placed in 2nd, it should not be too difficult to ascertain his chosen field as dentistry. As we know, 2nd governs mouth and teeth. ///I would appreciate if u revisit the books & understand the concept./// This kind of sarcasm is unnecessary Harry and totally unacceptable. Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Haresh (Harry) Nathani " <haresh1405 <jyotish-vidya > Sunday, December 09, 2007 11:25 PM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Wendy I am not surprised on the debate which has started on doctors. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, I look forward to your comments on Deepak Chopra's chart. Also, please do share any other doctor's chart if you can. It is good to hear that your grand children and great-grand children have moved to Australia. It would be a delight for you, I can imagine. My grand daughter is almost one year now, has started taking a few steps without any support. It is so wonderful to watch! Regards, Krishna Wendy Vasicek <jyotishvidya wrote: Dear Krishna, Yes indeed! Guest guest
Dear Krishna, ///I look forward to your comments on Deepak Chopra's chart./// Most certainly; there are some interesting points I'd love to discuss. Unfortunately it's now almost 1:00am here now (with daylight saving) and I don't want to slip back into that (hard to break) habit of not getting my proper rest... Will definitely offer my comments on Deepak's chart tomorrow :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Krishnamurthy Seetharama " <krishna_1998 <jyotish-vidya > Monday, December 10, 2007 12:46 AM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Wendy, I look forward to your comments on Deepak Chopra's chart. Guest guest
Dear Sir, I just read the discussions for guru chandal yoga participated by learned astrologer. In my son's horoscope i found that in his gemini lagna Rahu is placed with Jupiter,Venus & Moon,so my question is that is it forming guru chandal yoga in his chat, because the jupiter is enemy to the gemini lagna. pl clearify my doubts. regards manoj kar Krishnamurthy Seetharama <krishna_1998 wrote: Dear Manasa, Don't worry about so called Guru-Chandala yoga. One might question what they are told for the purposes of understanding it correctly, even if the info. is coming from guru or elders. You have Guru and Ravi in parivartana. Also, Mercury is connected to this combo through Mars. Note that Mercury is dispostied by Mars and Mars is closely conjunct Jupiter. That has possibly made you a doctor. Never miss a thing.
