VEDIC RISHIS - ORIGINS

Pithamaha Lord Brahma Successfully created First Ideal Human Couple

Swayambhoo Manu (First Manu) and 100 fold resplendent Devi Satha

Roopa.

Manu was Vishnu Amsa and SathaRoopa was Lakshmi Amsa Blessed By Aadi

Paraa Shakthi.

They were very obedient children and prayed before Brahma and

requested for

their duties and responsibilities. Lord Brahma was very pleased with

them and

commanded them to get married , settle down and raise a family. Manu

and

Satha Roopa agreed and prayed Brahma for His Blessings. Pithamaha

said " My Children . I am mighty well pleased with both of you. I

bless you

both with two sons and three daughters .You, Your two sons , their

sons and all

their male descendents will hence forth will become Inheritors of all

this

Universe, Become Rulers , Kings , Emperors etc.

But Your Three daughters , for whom I will find three of My own

Maanasa Puthras

and the Three couples will become the starting point of Vedic Rishis

to Propagate

Vedic Dharma . " Thus Lord Brahma Blessed Swayambhoo Manu and Satha

Roopa

Devi. In course of time they begat two sons - Priyavratha and

Utthaanapaada , who

became Kshathriyas and Emperors of The Entire World. Their Sons

Became

in turn the remaining 13 Manus including our own present Manu

Vaivaswatha Manu;

their descendents became Kings , Presidents , Prime Ministers etc;

Some were good ;

Some were bad - Dictators , Tyrants , but we are no more concerned

with them-

we dont want to get into Politics.

 

But we are concerend with those Three Noble Daughters of Swayambhoo

Manu

and Satha Roopa Devi. - Devi Akoothi , Devi Prasoothi and Devi

Devahoothi.

These three noble ladies were brought up by their parents in a very

traditional

orthodox Sanaathana Dhaarmic way -the best daughters any parents

could hope for.

The noble daughters grew up and when they attained marriageable age ;

Swayambhoo Manu

and Satha Roopa Devi approached Lord Brahma for suitable Spouses for

their Three

Daughters Sowbhaagyavathis - Akoothi , Prasoothi and Devahoothi. Lord

Brahma , as

promised Created from His Own Manas Three noble Rishis - Richika

Prajaapathi,

Daksha Prajaapathi and Kardama Prajaapathi.

Richika Rishi married Devi Akoothi ;

Daksha Prajaapathi wedded Devi Prasoothi ;

MahaaMuni Kardama Prajaapathi took the hand (PaaNi GrahaN) of Devi

Devahoothi.

Let us Bow our heads before these three Primordial Noble Couples ,

Our Ancestors-

Mind you They are Real , Beleive in Them ; all of us are their flesh

and blood .

Let us remember Them , pay our Obeisance , Respects to Them and Let

Them give me

and all of us the wisdom to learn about Them.
