regards to all,

there r different views bout rahus deblitation and

exaltation.....plz once for all plz clear this confusion.i have rahu 7 deg 46min

in 2nd pada of anuradha nakshatra placed in 5th house wid cancer

ascendent...jupiter has 9th aspect on it.....will its mahadasha will be

bearable?

dob 21-4-75, pob- amritsar(punjab),tob-12:55pm

Yes, there is much debate over this issue...

the rule laid down by Maharishi Parashara that is outlined in the

chapter on the Effects of Dashas, where it describes the effects of

the Dasha of Rahu it states that Rahu is exalted in Taurus and Ketu in

Scorpio. Thus, accordingly in your chart Rahu is in debilitation. I

have found this rule to be accurate in my own interpretations. When

debilitated, the Nodes act more malevolently, but in in your chart

they are well placed at least, and not closely afflicting. Rahu is in

a trinal house and Venus's influence on the 5th helps bolster it some

too. Generally speaking, Rahu debilitated in the fifth would indicate

some gains from speculations, good intuition and you will be very

active to follow materialistic pursuits in its periods.
