Guest guest
Sir, Going to the temple and praying to the God is a way to imrove our ways of living and bring in some quality to our lives. If this is what we mean about bhakti (marga/yoga) let it be part of our lives. As far as jyotish studies are concerned and the interst one gets to learn needs an extensive effort understand not only about Lagna/Ascdt,Rasi and the Sun sign, we need also to know about zodiacal movements and the cosmic world. one need to study all our Veidc related texts and nalyse through the charts and find how these things are related to happenings through dasa system(I mean not only Vimsottari and all other related methods) vrkrishnan nilesh joshi <niljoshi27 wrote: Dear All, When does one refer to Lagna Kundali,Rasi Kundali and Navamsa Kundali? Guest guest
Dear Nilesh, To the best of my understanding there is only one Kundali (Janma Kundali; which is also referred to as Rasi). Navamsha, and other Vargas, are divisions of Rasi/Birth Chart that are used in conjunction with the Birth Chart...NEVER are they used alone! Guest guest
Dear Wendyji, What I meant by Rasi Kundali is Chandra Lagna. There is some school of astrologers who say that if the janma kundali is not strong look at the chandra lagna for any yogas. I wonder why is that the case as Chandra the indicator of mind cannnot substitute for Janma lagna. When you say that navamsa is to be seen in conjunction with Janma - does it mean say to consider an example about career; we need to look at where the lord of 10 th in Janma lagna is placed in navamsa? Or do we consider the navamsa independently, meaning look at where the 10th lord of navamsa is placed in navamsa? Guest guest
Dear Nileshji, Sorry though this mail is addressed to Mrs.Wendy i would like to ease her efforts, if i can and if I am right. When we go to buy a house, we just dont see the house only, we also see who the neighbours are on that floor where we wish to buy the Flat,we will also enquire about the water supply there,we would also check whether there are any power cuts in that area, about the vegetable Markets if they are nearby, about the railway station and other modes of travel, if they are not too far etc.etc. Our decesion would thus be based on totality. In same way, The Rasi (Lagna)Chart they say, is the tree, the Navamsha is the fruits, the Moon lagna takes shape or activates after middle age, and the Surya Lagna activates after Old age. Any one decesion has to be made regarding any house and its attributes after examining all these charts, and assessment of the strength of that particular house in all charts, and then only we come to a conclusion whether his 2nd house is strong or 11th is weak, and so on and so forth. For Career also, You start first with the Lagna Chart, the planets placed in the 10th, or if no planet in 10th then the lord of the 10th,and then move to navamsha. Finally you see the common factors and then decide which planet is overbearing and which sign is overbearing, and native should pick up which of the probable shown lines of activity. This assessment is not easy to make, an carries a responsibility on the head of the astrologer, when he conveys his readings to a native for his grown up child, about to enter a specialised line of career. Rest Mrs.Wendy may explain, wherever I may have gone wrong. best wishes, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , nilesh joshi <niljoshi27 wrote: > > Dear Wendyji, > > What I meant by Rasi Kundali is Chandra Lagna. > There is some school of astrologers who say that if > the janma kundali is not strong look at the chandra > lagna for any yogas. > I wonder why is that the case as Chandra the indicator > of mind cannnot substitute for Janma lagna. > When you say that navamsa is to be seen in conjunction > with Janma - does it mean say to consider an example > about career; we need to look at where the lord of 10 > th in Janma lagna is placed in navamsa? > > Or do we consider the navamsa independently, meaning > look at where the 10th lord of navamsa is placed in > navamsa? > > Best Regards > > Nilesh > > > > --- Wendy Vasicek <jyotish wrote: > > > Dear Nilesh, > > > > To the best of my understanding there is only one > > Kundali (Janma Kundali; > > which is also referred to as Rasi).
