Guest guest
Dear Balaji, ///... no surprise then that the moksha bhavas are 12th from the trikonas./// I will explain this further later today...time permitting :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotishvidya <jyotish-vidya > Monday, February 25, 2008 11:04 PM Re: Re: The experience of transcendence Dear Balaji, ///But, doesn't meditation come under the 5th house?/// Actually each of the trikonas/dharmasthanas are linked (in their own way) to meditation. An important point to note in respect to earlier comment... >>It's said that Dhyana yoga (yoga of meditation) is the supreme path, and >>the ultimate goal of all others...<< .... no surprise then that the moksha bhavas are 12th from the trikonas. Guest guest
Dear Savithri, Ravindramani and All, My apologies (for post just sent). I pressed 'send' by mistake before I'd added any comment...sorry! Savithri Wrote: ///That is really very good analysis and tell me if one has to achieve the moksha their 5th and 9th house has to be strong./// For some, liberation/conversion can come in a flash...without any prior religious leaning. Those familiar with the story of St. Paul, a persecutor of the religious, will recall his conversion as a result of being struck (on the road to Damascus) by a blinding flash of light. I would associate such an event with 8th house. Many would be familiar with Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and his disdain for religion per se. And not forgetting U.G. Krishnamurti who, although being strongly involved in (religious) knowledge when he was young, attained the state of moksha only after he had turned his back on it all and given up the search... ///If the 5 and 9 houses are not strong should the native strive hard to achieve moksha?/// If the horoscope does not support it the native would not set his foot on this path... Also important to remember that, even if one does not achieve final liberation in this life, any effort towards this goal is not lost :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " SAVITHRI MAHESH " <savithri_mahesh2000 <jyotish-vidya > Tuesday, February 26, 2008 4:17 PM Re: Re: The experience of transcendence Dear Sri Ravindramani That is really very good analysis and tell me if one has to achieve the moksha their 5th and 9th house has to be strong. I understand that starting from first four houses is a bit primitive or rudimentary. If I can cite Jaimini, when Karakamsa is in Meena there are no future births. If the 5 and 9 houses are not strong should the native strive hard to achieve moksha? regards savithri
