Guest guest
Respected Mam, Things now fall in place with respect to RA/KE lordship . Further to this, you have mentioned that Ketu has moolatrikona in Sagittarius. Going by this, Would Mars and Ketu in sagittarius or Saturn and Rahu in Gemini prove harmful in this case? Moreover since Mars plays such an important role in marriages, would such a combination have adverse effects? May be there is lot more I need to see .Need to dig deep!. Your inputs are gr8ly helping me. Thanks again. Was offtrack on the " Why do we... " series. Would want to resume. Hope..! Guest guest
Dear Sripathi, I have a little doubt about the moolatrikona signs of the Nodes as many believe Rahu is extremely well placed in Sagittarius. I can't help but wonder if the translation has been reversed in some way i.e. Rahu's moolatrikona is Sagittarius and Ketu's is Gemini. I invite comments from learned members on this.... Guest guest
Wendy ji, ///I have a little doubt about the moolatrikona signs of the Nodes as many believe Rahu is extremely well placed in Sagittarius./// I believe that this is called " Kodanda Rahu. " Kodanda means a bow, and Dhanur Rasi is the sign of the archer. I personally have this--and I believe that this creates " heretic believers " (though this sounds like an oxy-moron! :-) Rahu is hedonistic, materialistic, and has no spirituality in him. But, he will behave like dispositor Guru, the karaka for religion. Also, Dhanur is the natural 9th house of divinity. ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~ ______________________________\ ____ Bored stiff? Loosen up... Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy, The Moolatrikona sign of Rahu is Gemini The Moolatrikona sign of Kethu is Sagittarius Another school of thought follows as The Moolatrikona sign of Rahu is Cancer The Moolatrikona sign of Kethu is Capricorn Rahu or Saturn if placed in Sagittarius, they are known as Kodanda Rahu and Kodanda Sani respectively. They shed their melefic nature to a large extent in this sign. Ramanujacharya praises the dasha of Rahu is the best for " Gangasnan " (taking dip in the river Ganga) and performing pilgrimages. Parashara too mentions the spiritual side of Rahu. During the Rahu Dasha, the spiritual activities will be outward and during the dasha of Kethu the spiritual activities will be inward. The nature of Rahu is Bahirmuhi (Outward) and the nature of Kethu is Antharmukhi (Inward) Swamy. jyotish-vidya , " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Sripathi, > > I have a little doubt about the moolatrikona signs of the Nodes as many > believe Rahu is extremely well placed in Sagittarius. Guest guest
Dear friends, I perfectly agree with Mrs. Wendy that the swakshetra of Rahu is aquarius and that of Ketu is scorpio. I also fully endorse that moolatrikona signs of Rahu and Ketu are Gemini and Sagittarius, respectively. Guest guest
Not so learned myself, but would be the logic for Rahu having mooltrikona in Saggitarious, a sign of Devguru Brihaspati, while Rahu is an Asura and generally signifies materialism? jyotish-vidya , " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Sripathi, > > I have a little doubt about the moolatrikona signs of the Nodes as many > believe Rahu is extremely well placed in Sagittarius. Guest guest
As an exampple, I can site an example of a relative who has Rahu + Guru in 9th, Saggitarius. Despite having a deepley religious family background, after marraige she has never proceeded with it. Althoguh the 9th house effects of travel, teaching( her profession) have been pronounced. Guest guest
Generally what does a planet at zero degress in a chart indicate? Logically, it points to infant state of planet, just leaving the prior house and entering the next.So maybe an area of learning, curiosity, lack of confidence/self esteem in the house where a planet is at zero degrees?
