kp charts. you can also download the demo from www.astrokundali.com

and then ask for reg.keys. this software is developed by dr. rajeev

karekar.

Just wanted to share my experiences with Astro kundali Software.

In one word -Excellent

It has many features like tracing Lagna/Mon/Sun/Jupiter's position to

pinpoint events, Horary & Natal, KP and Vedic etc.,

 

One point that surprises me is the speed of response from Dr.Karekar

for the issues regarding software.

 

Since I am novice I feel I am not using that software to fullest

extent.

Since it's about Horary, it's supposed to be p 131 of KP Reader VI,

in which the last line says--

 

" Also one can ask for a number within 249 and work out. "

 

This a complete sentence which is not continued on the next page 132.

 

KP Reader VI is the same page numbers and content in all (old & new)

additions, nothing different.

You can download the " Jagannath Hora " which is a free download

allowed by the generous Astrologer Shri PV Narsimha Rao. This will

also give you the KP planetary degrees ( After selection of

Ayanamsha),

and also the KP Cuspal Positions ( After selection of Beginning of

Cusp),

but the significators chart will have to be done manually,

and I assure you it does not take more than 5 minutes even for a

Novice.

The SubLords are already there, and for one who knows

rectification ,

this software works wonderfully.too, as you can arrive to the

required

SubLords within few seconds by changing the birth time, which

is also a few seconds process.

This way you can start making KP Charts, and later on if you wish,

you can buy a KP Software.

 

I have done the above way for full 1 year, before I turned

Professional, and purchased a KP Software ( To save time, and

for no other reason). Even now too, whenever I visit some contacts

place, and they ask me to look at some chart, I download this

software on their computers and begin reading. ( I do not

In Jhora 7.0 the KP Ayanamsa is 6 min 5.4 sec less than Lahiri (default). Is this correct?

 

Also how do you collate the significators, in an easy way?

 

Is there an excel sheet or a software module available online to do this?

 

Please provide an example with details ( DOB - 24/04/1968, 10.01 AM IST, 88 E 22, 22 N 34 ). Thanks..

Some people here use Parashra light..

I can across this software which is free " Jagannath Hora Software "

 

I found it very feature rich. Lists various yogas and very customizable.

If someone has used both of them,

kindly let me know if parashara light has features which are not present

Parashara light and visual jyotish, pc jyotish , Haydens s/w goravani,

astro-vision, astro-life, future point etc r some of the pouplar s/w of

these

 

I have seen 3 of them closely

 

which ever s/w I use I do test them by manually casting a data randomly over

a period fo time and use them

 

the 3 that r stable r

Parashara light

visual jyotish [now closed]

gora vani was threatening to close

HAYDENS is well recognised by a few authors, not seen them tho

 

I had written and helped others write s/w too so know the snags in them and

do find Jhora erronous in Kuja [mars and Sani [satn's positions not sure why

if they had a valied reason to differ it is not explained anywhere

 

featureswise Jhora is rich enough

but i use PL, VJ and my own regularly

Good to see your comments and views on these S/Ws and glad to know

that you have written Jyotish Software as well:-)

 

I use JHora for my study. I have some doubts on the following and

would request you to clarify since you know BOTH Jyotish and S/w

Programming..

 

How to Fix the " Gulika " in a chart? i believe you use Raman's Ayanmsa

when i check with Lahiri and Raman's ayanmasas this Gulika Position

chages by one House and couldn't able to understand..

 

For Eg, in my chart Gulika is positioned in 2H with Lahiri Ayanmsa

and same Gulika chages and goes to 3H when i use Raman's Ayanmsa..

featureswise Jhora is rich enough

but i use PL, VJ and my own regularly

diff ayanamsas

 

u can see vargas, at times chandra and lagna change too

 

in my case in Lahiris i am born inKritika 4th pada but ramans it is rohini

1st

 

like wise kuja is in 12th in lahiris and in lagna in ramans

 

so if u want trying to reversea position selectively no i is not u accept

the change in full,

 

raman's ayanasa is also know by past generations as revathi paksha and

lahiris as chaitra paksha

 

u can find mention of revathi paksha as a good point by a Western author of

the book WHEEL OF LIFE gives diff professions interpretations writen

somewhere in late 17th century credits Ancient Indian rishis of precession

of the equinox at Revathi or Pisca zeus or so let me confirm the last name

in next mail
