This is yet another proof that the nodes themselves neither give nor

receive aspects. If we were to consider 7th aspect for instance, then

these two diametrically opposed forces would cancel each other out...??

I had ketu in mind in original email for vairag feeling. but mame

vanished in this email while retyping.

But you are right.

It is a little confusing though, since whatever Ketu may be taking away,

Rahu may be giving back with his dhrishti.

I also read that Ketu has more effects on planets which is very close to

it and Rahu on Houses it sits.

Saturn has 3rd aspect which falls on 9th house. and the aspect has

effects of Rahu and Mars as well.

Again Mars aspects the 10th house and 10th Lord also. with the effect of

Saturn and Rahu.

Saturn, Mars, Rahu are all at last fw degree of the 7th house and Sun is

with the 5th degree of second house.

Ketu is also very close to the Sun degree wise, although not in same

house.

Thus sun and houses 9th and 10th are under Mars, Saturns and Rahus

effects.

If Rahus 5th dhrishti is taken into account then jupiter in 11th house

also gets the effect of Ra, Ma, Sa.

So the entire area of work and income, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th and Lagna is

under their effects.

Saturn and Mars very close and mars aspct on 10th house, and Saturn Mars

also looking at 10th lord who is in Lagna.

Saturn & Mars in close proximity often give engineering ventures and

business related to metals.

Presence of Malefics specially Mars, and Saturn in 7th and almost getting

into 8th may give some genitals trouble too.!! Not sure though.

Effect of Saturn and Mars 7th may cause operations due to contact with

Women who may not be of his class or lower than his.

(sorry for the class thing, but this is how the classics write it)

Yes moon is saved to a large extent or atleast not very harmed.

Also retrograde malefics and and aspect of all benefics should help.

How do you find that Rahu and Ketu are stationary.

Any reference to any text which writes about such effect?

As per my understanding Ketu affects the planet it conjuncts in such a

way as to obstruct the natural significations of that planet. Rahu, on

the other hand, seems to have a magnifying effect on the planet he

conjuncts, so that we're somewhat compelled towards the significations of

that planet. Both nodes, who's own nature is influenced by both the

conjunct planet and the nakshatra they occupy, reveal their effects

through their dispositor.

If you do SAV analysis,

the persons houses have points more than 30.

4-30

5-37

9-35

10-31

11-35

7th house has 18 points.

and lagna 22 points.

So health and relationship may be not very strong,

but fate and career seems good.

If someone has been SAV analysis and Indivdual planets varga points, kindly

throw some lights.

Will write just a few lines now.

Sun is and 9th house afflicted by Sa, Ma, Ra without beneficial aspects.

Relation to father or authority may not be good and may have ill habits.

Ma, Sa and Ra together aspect on lagna, moon and sun may give short temper and

violence also.

Persons profession can be in metallurgy or metal related, engineering or

teaching engineering.

Moon gets tight aspect from Mercury and also aspects from Jupiter and Venus.

Jupiters aspect on Moon even if afflicted by Sa, Ma, Ra should bring in light at

end of every tunnel.

Presence of 3 malefic in 7th and also tight aspect on Venus not good for

conjugal life.

May lead to spouses demise or sickly spouse.

Sun and Moon both luminaries being under stress does not paint a bright picture

overall.

Jupiter is not aspected by malefic also house exchange with venus is +ve.

Presence of 10 and 11th lord in lagna is good, but jupiter also in 11th may make

the person too inclined on the materialistic side.

Interest in occult may be there due to Mars 12th and 5th Lord, saturn 4th Lord

and with Moon 8th Lord all being together.

Sa and Ma being retrograde the malefic effects should be reduced or evident only

later in life.

With the above 2 points and the and lot of planets together may lead to

rennunciation or vairag feeling later in life.

More thinking will be needed to form a better picture of person in mind.

This native is a scientist in medical research. What features bear

this out?

Saturn indicating critical thinking

Mars indicating use of electronic tools

Moon indicating the use of the mind & concentration in connection with

these

Rahu indicating a western, external, emperical approach to things

The combined influence on Mercury, representing intelligence.

Native has stated that he is a medical research scientist.

Note that the 10th House is Virgo... It's ruler, Mercury is in the

1st, within 3 degrees of the ascendant. Mercury brings an

intellectually oriented career. Venus is conjunt, ruling the 6th

house. Lord of the 6th in the first creates people interested in

healing. Further the lord of the 10th is in the Nakshatra of the lord

of the 6th. There are strong, strong connections between healing,

occupation and self.

6th and 10th lords are under the influence of Saturn the scientist and

Mars the pioneer... = research scientist in the field of healing and

medicine.

All these planets are on the Rahu Ketu axis - thus although Rahu and

Ketu to not cast dhristi aspects, their influence gets spread back and

To all following the interpretation of this chart:

More info on the father of this person...

The native said that he holds his father in great respect. I asked

some questions on this and he replied further:

I originally said that the father may have been an enemy, mainly

because I saw the 9L Sun in the Capricorn, the house of his great

enemy Saturn.

However if we use a less " traditional " , more Northern Indian system

(which BTW, I am beginning to favor heavily in this regard), we should

judge the 10th House as the father.

I am beginning to favor this system because of cases like this one,

and because the 9th house is the father only to cultures where the

father is synonymous to the spiritual guru. In most modern cultures

this is, of course, still true in at least a trace element, but mainly

the father is the provider who does the work to maintain the native

(10th house = karma & work).

10L Mercury is in the 1st, 3 degrees from the ascendant. The 10th

House flourishes as a result, and the concerns of the 10th, career and

father become fundamental to the person and shape his essential

character.

The Sun is still an indicator of the father, but secondary to the 10L

(or perhaps 9L if you want the older, South Indian system). Therefore

we must read the sun in context of the 10L condition. Considering that

we have already established the importance of this person's father,

now see the sun's involvement in FAMILY (2nd House) and heroism

regarding enemies. Also see the sign placement is Capricorn which is

Saturn's sign, who is the servant of others and a very hard worker -

First (quick) glance at this chart I formed the opinion that he might be

a successful businessman. Based on the conjunction of planets in

7th...business partners etc. in mutual aspect with 10th lord/karaka

(Mercury)...lesson to be learnt...not good to make hasty judgements

without considering all relevant factors.

One very important point here is Saturn (in 7th conjunct Mars) disposits

Sun (significator for government etc). Isn't it amazing how much clearer

our vision becomes with hindsight!
