What does being in an angle mean in the jyotish parlance - for instance, in the

suggestion 'should one among Budh, Guru and Shukr be in an angle from the Lagna

....'?

A geometrician might say anything not parallel is at an angle, but jokes apart,

from the view of a chart, and keeping the Lagna as the point of determination,

it would seem that the kendra [except 7th], the kona, and even upachaya houses

should be considered to be in an angle. But that is just a commonsensical view;

I'd appreciate more learned view on this please. Thanks to all the respondents.

Dear Patheya , Namaskar

------

We have definitions from Classics here where the chart is build. Angle

means Kendra - 1,4,7,10.

Benefics in these bhavas destroy disease, give support, prolongs life

and give auspicious mind.
